    • @BasharA301
      @BasharA301 3 года назад +9

      It is incorrect. The correct and formal way of pronouncing the letter ج is the way it's pronounced in the birthplace of Arabic which is the Arabian peninsula and it's pronounced jeem not geem.

      Not really, objectively and classically it's only jeem, never geem, however due to modernization and western influence, and many languages straying farther from the original classical Arabic and being influenced and limited by their own previous languages of the area, it has changed and some people pronounce it geem now. You can also see this happening sometimes with "ق" (qaaf becoming more like g and sometimes a glottal stop).

      I admit that our men sound so strict and they stress on words but we have this as manhood aspect in the Arabian culture . It's to give them more masculine aspect but women usually speak softly as to show that they're more feminine.

    Watching this video I was so shocked at confirming how much teaching - I mean learning - has evolved in recent years.
    The lecturer is such a typical old style teacher, giving the lesson for the sake of delivering the knowledge and not asking himself what and how many people will be able to learn something of the video.
    Having worked as a teacher for many years in the past, being a life-long student myself, of languages in particular, I find myself crying out thoughts and questions:
    Where is my language learning app?
    Why are we (teachers) still doing it sometimes? And expecting digital natives to be able to focus on it? Get along with this?
    When I am finding it hard/useless to do so?
    I am 40 years old, I have decades of experience attending traditional classes, where I could easily and consistently focus on the teacher talking/writing and I could retain a very big percentage of the information delivered and subsequently form relevant knowledge out of it. But despite my talent to endure, enjoy and gain from traditional "traditional classes" the methodology seems so strikingly outdated to me now.
    Thank you for the video though, it gave me a small understanding of the arabic alphabet, I did not have. And by that, some of its educational targets might have been suceeded! And the teacher as a lecturer has some remarkable good qualities.
