This story was always so cool id imagine i was a private detective, historian or enthusiast slowly branching out and realizing im going to be quicky in over my head
Even as a huge Lovecraft fan I really couldn't get into Shadow over Innsmouth because it was hard to visualize. The film Dagon (2001) captured it well but this captures it perfectly. Thank you, guys.
SPOILER JOKE: if you were wondering: the Deep Ones are bony, deep sea hunters and the Marshes are FLATFISH and that shoggoth is MILLIONS of years old, being the creation of the Elder Ones

Innsmouth reminds me of San Francisco…. Filled in harbor… downtown given over to hopeless drug addicts…
