I really love your videos and like the way you narrate them. Kind of makes for smoother viewing and highlights the meal really well ( if that makes sense 😊)
Hi Jennifer. It does make sense to us. We like to do the narration after we get home. For us there is less distractions. We still basically wing it while we narrate the videos we don’t write a script. The older we get the more noise in a restaurant is very distracting to us and it makes it hard to focus on what to say in a restaurant during the meal. The back ground music and people talking can be distracting also. Thanks for watching and sharing a comment.
The Alamo is a beautiful restaurant and has awesome theming inside and out. NIce job of showing the menu. I think y'all are getting better and better at your narration. Very thorough and honest review. Dessert for breakfast, I like your thinking! lol Great job on your video. 😀
This review reminded me that I needed to start working on my supper for this evening! (Chicken Teriyaki and coleslaw... I'm a re-cycled bachelor. LOL!) Unless I get a better offer, I plan on going to PF for a few days before Christmas. My "steak night" supper will likely be from Chop House as that seems to have more consistent positives than negatives compared to the other steak places. This was a good, honest, review. One thing I think about regarding restaurants is the "usual clientele". I wouldn't judge The Alamo by my experiences at Lawry's, Clearman's Northwoods, or The Derby. Pigeon Forge isn't Beverly Hills, San Gabriel, or Arcadia. I have mixed emotions about the post-production narration. While it make the narration more coherent, it lacks the "ambience/atmosphere" of live narration. God Bless!

Back in the 80s after I got out of the Marines I worked for a linen service company located in Pomona, Ca. I delivered napkins and uniforms to Clearman’s Northwoods restaurant and the other 3 or 4 restaurants related to the main steakhouse restaurant there. Pinnacle Peak steakhouse in San Dimas, California was our favorite steakhouse in the 80s. Alamo Steakhouse in Pigeon Forge is a very good place to get a steak dinner. The atmosphere is amazing not too loud like some other restaurants in the area. We can only give our experience of the food we eat at a restaurant for the day we eat there and in this case we think we have had a little better tasting steaks at Texas Roadhouse in Sevierville, TN and Fort Worth Steakhouse in Sevierville, TN. We would definitely go back to the Alamo Steakhouse. As far as the voice over goes it is what works for us with my hearing impaired issues. Most of our subscribers are over 60 years old and they have hearing issues also and they have told us it is easier to understand what we are talking about without the background noise from the restaurants. Now there are a lot of RUclips channels that keep the live voice recording with the background sound and we love and respect their channels and videos but I for one have a hard time understanding what they are saying and talking about in their videos sometimes. We do very much appreciate your input and suggestions for our channel and most of all taking the time to watch our videos and caring enough to give your opinion and feedback to us. God Bless you.
On road trips my wife used to like to play a game where she would turn on a '90s country Pandora station and then turn her screen off on her car and see if I could get the song before the lyrics started. I was right 9 out of 10 times. She was always like you were born in 1988 how do you know '90s country so good and really it's because I grew up in a little farm town and that's all anyone listened to.
I ate there once. The service was terrible. The steak was a very poor cut, and not cooked very well. It was way overpriced. In no way did it live up to the hype surrounding it.
