KIKO Well think about it....the AI is designed to fight against players....where rushing in and being aggressive is challenging to play against. They aren’t designed to fight big enemies like flood tanks or hunters.
Red Elite The enemy do not rush you as default. They will often shoot from range and hang back....they usually rush when your shields are down. I’ve played halo reach for 9 years, I know exactly how the AI work. The picture you’re painting of them ‘always running in’ isn’t accurate. Yes they often do rush you, but often snipe at you and dodge. Depends what weapons they have. You’re telling me a legendary elite ultra sprinting at you whilst you have low health is easy to beat?? Wtf
One of the reasons why I keep doing this, I know that feeling and I am very happy thate I am able to give a comfortable morning to other people. It's night time here tbh but I am always aiming to upload at west coast's timezone (majority of my subscribers from what I've observed) so everytime my subscribers gets up in the morning they have something new to watch
Halo 2 Needler Sentinels vs Halo 1 Sentinels. (You know, that secret prototype sentinel in halo 2 that's the *Only* sentinel that shoots needler rounds.)
I wish Elites, and other AI had been coded to use/have secondary weapons. So Heavy Weapon equipped Elites would draw a Plasma Pistol, Rifle, or Needler, occasionally Energy Swords. And engage the player with those at closer ranges. And Marines, too, so that Rocket, Spartan Laser and Grenade Launcher equipped Trooper/Marines would pull out a pistol up close vs Killing themselves or not firing. Expecially the Zealots on Winter Contigancy*, He should charge you with his Sword, but when you retreat to far, or are trying to goof him, he should draw a Plasma Rifle to pressure you. It would make all Sword Elite a lot more challenging, without buffing the sword.
Great battle, the reach elites don't appear to be as strong as I thought, with the exception of the ultra elite with the concussion rifle and the elite Marshall with the energy sword.
The one time elite rage would not cut it, but it seems they have to try anyway. That field Marshall literally raged after every flood tank elimination, lol. Awesome video.
These Elites improved their tactics this time around .They maintained a reactionary gap and kept on the move .. blasting the stupid "flood tanks " with everything they had until they the tanks were weak enough to be dispatch with cqc!😎🤓 I was rooting for the little strafe masters to win ofc 😄 I'm sure they're still mourning the losses of the last battle though , they lost some of their best soldiers :(

I play Reach a lot, and can assure you, these elites are way tamer than normal difficulty. Mines won't let me have a break, even a minor sangheili gives a fight
Not really, the ultra lost to the tanks when it became a 1 vs 2, the only reason he moved the ultra past that is because the hit didnt register due to a flaw in game design
I've always had a hard time determining why people say Ultras are tougher than Zealots and Generals. I honestly think it's because of how common they are to run into. Also the equipment they have on them. I mean 90% of the time I get killed is by being overrun by several Ultras dual welding plasma rifles on Legendary. Zealots are so rare that they almost never kill me in the missions except for Pillar of Autumn when I decide to be stupid. Whereas there's Ultras on basically every mission that has Elites.
The Zealots really know how to duck and weave. Glorious.
