Mod creator is called Vanbuinen and he likes to troll streamers when they play his mods and changes of nerfes everything you find that has op potential in his mod and he did that to stremer called lProd when he did ascended playthroughs of all souls games. Ds 1 was difficult but the mos made uou op too. Ds 2 was much worse in the past and most weapons didn't even work and ds 3 had all main cinder bosses and soul of cinder so yea most of them are not fun to play as content and is extremely unfair.
The side story where he gifted DS3 and Elden Ring to that random person he invaded was hilarious. The fact that he was a gooner who installed the horny firekeeper mod for his first playthrough the game made it that much better.
Gotta say invading a player with a modded character, wrecking him, sending him to work with a chip on his shoulder, buying him games to apologise and then finding out his first act was to download a horny mod is PEAK comedy.

The Ascended mods are super mixed bags. In DS1 I super enjoyed it, but 2 and especially 3 just went to far off to be good. It just turns into "everything 1 shots you , gives you every ailment in the game, and lol enemy and boss spam". The older challenge runs like broken sword are so memorable because they needed the player to have enough knowledge and skill to fight every boss for longer periods of time and manage stamina, but they are not super tedious and long like "lvl 1 no hit blindfolded while someone squeezes my nipples" ones or crazy mods like this. I would love sort of like a "Ascended light" where you get the different perks on weapons and armor and super high damage numbers, but balanced and not just super spammy and trolly towards the second half. And btw: Thanks for all the laughs Lenny!

When Prod played this mod a few years back the final boss were all three final bosses from each DLC, but Sinth would always glitch out of the map somehow and his part of hp bar wouldnt dissapear essentially making it impossible to actualy finish the mod since the boss room was empty but the hp bar was not. Glad they fixed that issue XD Also the DLC's themselves are pretty brutal on this mod and Elana had to be reworked a lot since she was way too difficult. Great video, had fun, didnt even fall asleep while watching.
The fact the mod lets people invade you and you invade people is insane. Normally mods like this force you into offline mode. Imagine summoning someone and taking them to the Darklurker, Fume Knight, Ivory King gank fight without the mod buffs.

The ascended mods have always had really cool ideas for their games but they're also turbo cbt simulators. I think thats why later games the dude made a difficulty selector.
I started watching your videos because of the absurd difficulty of the challenge runs, but kept watching because you are very entertaining. The vibes you bring are unlike any others I've seen. Also your videos inspired me to do an all bosses broken straightsword run in DS3, which I called the "Lennymode" run. It was genuinely a blast. I see why you kept making videos about that sort of thing. I started another Lennymode run at SL1. The dancer probably took like 4 hours to get right. I haven't played since then, which was like a year and a half ago. I am going to continue tonight.

As an unironic Dark Souls 2 fan, I'll be honest, Lenny's bit about the Harvest Valley cube room made me kinda appreciate it. Imagining being some fresh hire at FromSoft tossed into the B-team and given the chance to design part of an area (and making a big repeating-texture cube) reminds me of being a kid and messing around in Hammer editor and the sheer joy of simply being able to construct a giant empty cube room and then go in-game and walk around inside that room in Half Life et al. A room _I_ made out of nothing, and _I_ can walk around. Doesn't change that the most iconic part of Dark Souls 2 is the worst part.
You and pineapple are my favorite souls content creators, the amount of work you put into videos is astounding i know someone else already said it, but i'm very glad you managed to make the switch from TTS to a successful streaming career and that your streams translate so well into videos. I started watching your videos because of the absurd difficulty of the challenge runs, but kept watching because you are very entertaining. The vibes you bring are unlike any others I've seen.
Also your videos inspired me to do an all bosses broken straightsword run in DS3, which I called the "Lennymode" run. It was genuinely a blast. I see why you kept making videos about that sort of thing. I started another Lennymode run at SL1. The dancer probably took like 4 hours to get right. I haven't played since then, which was like a year and a half ago. I am going to continue tonight.

As an unironic Dark Souls 2 fan, I'll be honest, Lenny's bit about the Harvest Valley cube room made me kinda appreciate it. Imagining being some fresh hire at FromSoft tossed into the B-team and given the chance to design part of an area (and making a big repeating-texture cube) reminds me of being a kid and messing around in Hammer editor and the sheer joy of simply being able to construct a giant empty cube room and then go in-game and walk around inside that room in Half Life et al. A room _I_ made out of nothing, and _I_ can walk around.
Doesn't change that the most iconic part of Dark Souls 2 is the worst part.
You and pineapple are my favorite souls content creators, the amount of work you put into videos is astounding

Lenny really is just my perfect comfort youtuber. I remember watching him for the broken sword stuff but now i just like his videos where he just breaks up the streams into days and just shows us jokes and highlights because honestly i love it. It's so entertaining and simple the cats are so good and I honestly love that Lenny can be really good at entertaining and still play games well. one of my favorite youtubers hands down

I used to watch for your challenge content, but when you switched to a more comedic/less serious style you instantly became one of my favorite creators of all time. Sometimes will go on a dark souls nostalgia kick, see your broken sword experience vid and vattis lore vids from time to time. That motivational speech soundtrack with the shared experience always makes it a emotionally moving watch. Agree about the hype surrounding the ign vids. Mod vids are also really interesting. The lies of p video with the constructive commentary on the game story, gameplay and humor mix made for a very enjoyable watch. Always enjoy seeing a new video of yours. Thank you!!

Lenny, I only watch you for the humor. You make the mundane enjoyable. You put alot of work into editing, unlike alot of the major challenge guys, who either have boring videos or pay someone else to edit. If you wanna do a casual version of a god run, I'd still watch!
