Also, she gave what’s called a COMPARISON. Some people felt uncomfortable back in the day as a white person sitting next to a black person, and sadly some people feel the same way sitting next to a trans person… which is really just disgusting and despicable… people are people… and more people should simply try and be DECENT people, THAT’S what’s this world needs more than anything else!

Secondly, a persons income is based on the revenue and profit they bring in. My coworker may think it’s unfair that I earn more than they do, but my sales determine my income. That same concept applies to women’s income in sports vs men.

Says the person with no higher education credentials let alone a law degree. I know for simpletons the idea of multi variable issues- is mind melting, but life is complicated. In order to have a nuanced and educated perspective, you need to address all factors rather than utilizing all 80iq points held- to hyper focus on a sliver that only tells part of the story. I suggest reading more books, maybe read some classic philosophical texts that reflect just how complicated even the simplest ideas of morality- truly are.

She’s making some type of emotional argument that because congress won’t pass a new law, then the president should twist a similar law in order to meet her objectives. Robbie is just saying that you need to pass a new law that specifically addresses this stuff. Instead of recognizing his argument, she just accuses him of being bad or immoral. Also, it’s really piggish of her to dominate every segment. Maybe the producers ask her to talk more? It’s so much more powerful when a debater is concise and doesn’t filibuster. It’s almost as if there is a running clock for each segment. Bri will try to talk as much as she can without being totally rude. But, like a good boxer at the end of the round, she always makes sure to get in the last punch. It’s so childish.

@@innovationatwork199 A common tactic with the modern left is to try to conflate the concept of existence with being allowed to do anything you FEEL like doing, and I think a lot of them actually believe it, because it stems from the narcissistic perspective of only seeing their subjective rights side of the pendulum of rights and responsibilities. It's like a Venn diagram where there is a responsibility to ensure that rights extend as far as possible, but only so far that they don't overlap the rights of the next person. But they only see one circle on the diagram...

I think that's what I appreciate the most about her, even when I don't agree with the stance she takes on a topic. I think all the claims, wants, and demands of the trans activists are a "stance" too far for the overwhelming majority of the reasonable and objective populace. I have yet to hear ANYONE present a reasonable and tenable argument for most of the trans activists' demands, and although it may be "honorable" for Bri to want to "die on that hill," it seems to be a fool's errand, at best, and it greatly diminishes her reasoning credibility at worst.

I thought the point was that Title IX is constantly being re-interpreted in the context of changes in the larger society. Which isn't to say that these new changes are good, just that there is precedent for refining the meaning of the law.

What Brianna is missing in making the comparison about race, is that the "separate but equal" approach to race was specifically rejected by the courts, while Title 9 it is specifically adopted. That IS what Title 9 codifies. The other point Robby is making, is that laws should not just be expanded by interpretation to cover things they were never intended to cover, make new laws that deal with new issues, don't simply reinterpret laws to suit your desire. Doing so only makes laws matters of opinion, as this segment shows.
