My dad was a truck driver for 40 years he passed away during Covid, that’s one of the reasons I like to watch your videos. I used to go with him as a kid during the summer.
Sorry for your loss. My husband’s dad is a truck driver and my husband said him and his brothers would take turns going on “trips” with their dad, I thought that was so cool.

My dad passed Dec 2021 from Covid. I am so sorry for your loss. ❤️ Memories get me through the tough times, I am glad you also have them to comfort you.

In the last couple months I became a stay at home mom. I have a 2 year old and am 7 weeks pregnant. My partner works 6 overnights a week. I love watching these recipes not only for ideas to pack for my own partners lunch but also just to see a fellow mama taking care of her working man! It can feel so fulfilling

You make this truckers wife life so much easier lol. Such get ideas!! If you look in the b.d section at Walmart they have little metal kids pencil boxes. I use these for my husband's plastic silver ware so much easier send bunch at one time

These ideas are so good. Have you ever tried the apple hack to keep them from turning brown after they are cut? You take 2 cups cold water and add 1/4 tsp. salt to a bowl and stir the salt into the water and then add 1 or 2 cut apples, let soak in the water for 5 minutes, and then drain but don't rinse. It works great and doesn't taste salty.
Thank you! I haven’t tried that trick, I’ve tried soaking them in apple juice but I don’t always have that on hand so I like your idea!!

Oh my goodness! I’ve never rinsed my dried beef 😂 but I only ever use it in cheese balls so I guess it just gives it some salty flavor! Good to know, though!!

Just an fyi, my husband is a bis driver and was told to never eat poppy seeds, if you have a random drug test it show up as positive for opiates. Hope this helps 😊

Awesome ideas thank you. Be careful with the diet pop. My moms neurologist said the sugar substitute aspartame and sucralose literally eat the brain. She had dementia badly. She was 65 by the time we stopped her diet pop. Probably too late. Have your hubby try ollipop it’s really good. Low sugar. Nothing fake.

You basically made a crispy dog lol. Down here in South Texas we fry a hot dog in corn tortilla. You can add cheese too. Dip in them in a little mustard and boom you're eating crispy dogs lol. They're so good and extremely budget friendly 😊

I enjoy watching your videos so much. My boyfriend is a paramedic and he often works 24 and 36 hour shifts; more often than not, he doesn’t have access to a microwave because they are always running calls.
So I tried to make things that can be eaten at room temperature. Fortunately he doesn’t mind eating foods this way (whereas I like my food piping hot) but anyway; I am always looking for lunch ideas and leftovers that can be taken for lunch or in his case, dinner, the next day.
He loves ranch Doritos so I’d be very interested to know how you use the dip and if you have any recipes or ideas for using it. Thank you so much.
