Well I dunno .. I'm one Oyibo who had the honour and pleasure to be pulled up by Bright to dance with him in front of an audience of Nigerians. I organised the NIAC celebration concert in Port Harcourt (I think it was around 1996) .. we had a great time.
It's very pertinent that once in a while we refresh back to old schools songs to really get what music is all about. Music is a way of life and if you allow this type of musics to get into you; you will be free like the bird. Love from Cypru 2020
I come on here often to listen to (Sir Bright Chimezie's)his songs reminds me of my late dad...My dad fed us with his songs when we were very young and we grew up listen to these genre of music
Igbo kwenu. our language, our pride. learn English very very well but never never forget our Igbo language. it is our identity. teach your kids Igbo no matter how small or difficult it may seem.
Amazing talent from Bright Chimezie, proudly Nigerian and African. Not like the wannabes we have these days. Well done Bright Chimezie, thank you for promoting our culture. Thank you Omenife for posting this.

Bright is always singing meaningful music. Wow!! I have never seen music, truth, dramatize in this form before. A B GB D E F G M N NW............ Chai!! you have put Igbo language in another powerful level. Thank you so much Sir.
What will our lost brothers and sisters who were displaced several hundred years ago not do to have their own language? They hate us with a passion cause they feel we sold them. Yet we deprive our selves the right and priviledge of our own heritage, of which language is the key. How can anyone not be able to say to one's own child in a mixed crowd bia kwala nwam, gee nti(Come here my child;listen) When one dials 1-800-the lost, the Igbos will surely answer cause we are truly the LOST. Help Lord!
Sir Bright. Ur music remind me of my late Father he so much love Sir Bright Music and i fellow his footsteps on this I so much adore your music sir this is what is called music with lesson and messages passed.

the decay in moral decadence that has engulfed the lyrical message of Nigeria music as a form of the arts in the past 15years since the rise of the pseudo-american african music is quite unprecedented. only if such sound songs can still come back to mainstream media. its well. God help the children that grow up under Wizkid and Davido.
but still in this new wave , there's still artiste with conscious , and moral messages .. but they cant gain commercial success , if they don't dumb their message down
