I’m too old to be exited by a case looking like a engine part of an alien spacecraft. Nope put some wood on it like the north case and it gets this grumpy old mans attention 😅
The video mentions that the side panel LED was planned to have a removable cover- so that one could make their own designs with it... Is that still the case with the release version? The product page makes no mention of it.
I'm totally with you on the chair. I have an Aeron in my office with an aftermarket headrest and I can't imagine a better office chair. Expensive, but worth it IMO.
I honestly want to know what the ASUS team really was thinking of who would actually buy and how many they would sell for that price, like all that planning and time spent for such a small customer base in this case price range compared to their other competitors who has so much more to offer at a fraction of the price
il put it this way meny large cases that cost even more than the case they sell so the price is pretty normal nothing over the top i mean its meny cases that cost the same that has less fatures its not hard to see why it cost so much i wont get it bc i want white build
@@vincentduong1465 "Their simps will buy whatever with Rog logo on it and brag about it loudly even though they just got robbed so bad" -> For me, it is the opposite. The design of the Hyperion case is very fitting to my aesthetic. The ROG eye logo is its glaring flaw for my eyes.
That keyboard is interesting, assuming the latency and battery life are competitive with Logitech's, as having hot-swap switches would be fantastic for maintenance. But I wouldn't buy one with that silly (albeit inexplicably popular) layout. I don't care about a numpad very often (a separate one is fine for the rare times I might), but I want my cursor keys in the normal place and the home/end/etc. block unadulterated. I have no idea why that layout is so popular with high-end keyboards now as it is a) absolutely horrid but also b) saves about one key width of space, which is just pointless. It's like putting a cramped laptop layout on your desk, as if desks are that starved of space. If they make a TKL version with standard layout, I might buy one. The chair looks interesting, and it's nice to see more full mesh options coming out, for those of us in warmer climates!
talking of the price of a graphics card and a $1000 chair ..... Im just getting back up off the floor ..... WOW thats a lot you can get some full mesh ergo office chairs for $500 which has fully adjustment on every thing
I wonder how good that 500$ case actually is for watercooling because it looks like you wouldn't get a lot of air in the front for it to cost 500$. It does look cool though.
hard to say lian li also has a case thats 500 + aswell we just gotta w8 and see butif i compare it to lian li 500+ case base of just looking at em this looks like its worth more
@Muzubi Honestly, I didn't know so many expensive cases existed. Most I ever spent was on the Corsair 5000D. Case and I managed to fit a 120 ,240, and 360 rad on it with the 240 and 360 in push pull.
@@lordgrape5015 my most expensive case is 190 the lian LI dynamic Evo I'm happy with it I'm just waiting for the XL version that comes later this year I refuse to pay 500 for a case
That big case just looks like Asus doing Asus things with regards to making something splashy. It's like a mediocre HAF 700 as that actually has a ton of technical innovation with regards to cooling capability and comes in two models at ~$300/650.
The biggest issue I have with Asus is that they are pretty expensive and haven't made a good looking white AMD GPU or decent looking fans (from the intake side - fixed by either making a reverse airflow version or altering the RGB to show on both sides and cleaning up the hub support structure to look aa little nicer). I do like the TuF gaming styling though. Planning an all white, all AMD build this time and parts availability if you want the style to match the TuF stuff is a small issue at the moment.
Asus has gotten too expensive for me and it really takes away me being able to enjoy my computer and what you might find funny about me is that I build a $3,000 PC every 18 months to 24 months. So I pass the torch to the younger guys now who are silly enough to spend that kind of money.
these products didn't change by themselves over millions of years. People should stop using a word that doesn't fit. Its not just you, its almost half of youtube saying evolution this, evolution that. These products were made by people in a factory.
I live how they make a monitor for esports people and then compare it to a 144hz monitor....lol if it's for escorts people it's probabaky replacing their 300plus hz monitor in which the actual difference between 300 and 500 is very minimal if not unrecognizable to the human eye....that's why they won't put a 300hz monitor next to it
$1,000 for a chair?! That thing better tickle my balls for that 💰
lol yeah I won't give more than 200-300$ max for a chair
"Hey that looks really cool"
"Yea its only $500"
"Sorry, doesn't look that cool"
My thoughts exactly lol.

Phanteks also has an Asetek Gen 8 pump they showed off at CES as well
500 dollars for a case,we live in a society
Good case to put the $2000 GPU
Things that don't become obsolote as quickly as other components: The case, the fans, the PSU, and possibly the cooler.
You truly have no see 2007-2012 when Lian li silverstone used to make high end case 500+
@@HosakaBlood throw InWin in there, their D-frame 2.0 case was $1,200.
It's ASUS are you even surprised?
7:17 I thought it you said it.
Rog chair looks like an IKEA chair
Forget the Asus 540 Hz 1080p TN panel. I am waiting for Asus to release their new 480p 1500 Hz display at CES 2024!!!
Excellent reporting. Feels like I’m watching tv. Thanks for bringing this content to us.

you doing a great job reporting at CES event, a natural at it.
I really like the look of that Asus ergo gaming chair.
Edit: damn wish it was half the price though, $1k is steep.
The adjustability of the head/neck rest of that chair looks pretty good
I really like that Asus Hyperion case, might get it to replace my older 1000D.
With all this new tech at the show its pretty hectic for you guys!
Thanks though 👍😊
Phanteks I thought has a new Asetek Gen 8 on there aio
Am I from the future? I can swear i saw this video yesterday.
When asus cant pay for activate windows but they want 500$ for this case :D

$250 for the keyboard seemed unreasonable until I found out it came with a lubing station!
the price is actually pretty good compared to competition. gmmk pro is like 300
Nice ashtray on that Hyperion 😛
Love me some Asus
the front of that case looks a lot like the back of that chair
Looks like the Cooler Master Cosmos C700M lol
TUF would be awseome with design...if only they removed that "Gaming" out of the brand.

I can get 2 Phanteks NV7s for the price of that case, which is alot better than it, and looks alot better
Big companies seeing people are willing to pay absurd/scalper prices. So now they're pricing their product like this

$500 is a lot for a case.
I don't get the appeal at all. Everything is overpriced and looks ridiculous.
People crying about a $500 case but go spend $1,300 on the iPhone

Sorry ASUS, I don't see that $500 case being any competition to the Thermaltake CTE C750 or Phanteks NV7 which are both cheaper and better looking.

Better buy a Corsair Obsidian 1000D without plastic bull 💩 for that price. Asus is the next nvidia became a greedy company.
The design of the Hyperion is so ugly. They didn't even bother to make anything even remotely attractive. For me it's a stepback compared to Helios.
ASUS ROG the modern Alienware, tacky designs everywhere .
I want that first case damn
