The Air Ambulance team at my local are ex military, i’d expect a lot of them in central london would have some sort of serious flight experience at the least, great effort by the air team here beautiful landing 👍
@@_emmaxx9 right, but can you see how many HCPs are already on scene? Along with a number of officers & a landing helicopter with a doc and critical care para onboard.. why would anyone think they'd be safe to just walk near the helicopter landing zone and help? Probably hinder at that point- also nurses are generally great at hospital care, but in pre-hospital they receive little training
@@AlexTunstall yeh I do know this 🤣🤣🤣I’m studying medicine and critical care. As I said before, someone could help before people turned up. And why do people need to watch it really annoys me
@@WTG20233 yes, but even the biggest hospital isnt specialised for all kinds of diseases or accidents. Or maybe the Patients Spine is damaged. Then a transport by Ambulance could be too bumpy. So they order a Helicopter. Or he needed a Emergency doctor an the Helicopter was the only available at this time

@@_emmaxx9 I'm sure someone did help initially - people watch because it's fascinating and not something they see all the time
There is a hospital literally right there too!
Yes! I presume it isn't an accident and emergency hospital so they had to go to London Hospital in Mile End

The hospital isn't a major trauma centre, if I remember correctly there are four in London, kings, st Georges, royal London and st Mary's
They probably didn't have the right stuff to treat him
I'm confused there's a trauma centre right there a couple of doctors could have ran there lol
