Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom | A Hidden Masterpiece

Let's face it, licensed games aren't exactly known for their quality. They're typically buggy, broken, rushed, boring, frustrating, and generally lacking in passion, often only being a paycheck for the companies that made them. Of course, there are exceptions to that rule, though, and today I'd like to take a look at one of the most prominent examples. It's a game that I (sort of) played as a child, the best licensed game ever made, Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom. As you can tell from the timestamp... I have a lot to say about this game and what makes it a hidden masterpiece, so stick around if you'd like to hear about it.
P.S. This is a review of the original 2003 game only. I didn't factor in the Rehydrated remake at all. Also no this isn't that "mystery video" I've been hinting at every now and then. With that said enjoy the show
