Thanks for a great to-the-point tutorial. I wonder if the second method using deconstructed breps - how do you find the right normals for the centroids? Divide Surface gives you points as well as normals, so it's super easy to align objects with the surface curvature.
I have a doubt how to put circle that are oriented to surface using the second method you have shown...by using the second method circles are not orienting to the curved surface
