Haikyu wasn’t my starter anime but it’s what kept me going and actually get into volleyball. Now, the game is already a part of me. Haikyu is the no.1 in my list and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Just remember that this list dont really include that many genre of anime. Anime is a rather old industry they have so many genre besides shonen and fighting stuff. This list mostly cover shonen and anime that's been hyped up by international community, but they barely have the laid-back ones, like shujo anime or slice-of-life, I mean they dont even include the mystery ones. In those different genres, you will find more musical genre than just rock. I mean, its not that I hate it, but some of my favorite anime are not really a fighting anime, so they probably will never be featured in this list

haven't watched animes in YEARS but when i used to be obsessed the Cowboy Bebop opening and OST was universally recognised as the greatest music for anime ever written, I still jam to that opening to this day!

One of my all time favorite openings is blue bird by ikimonogakari! It's from naruto which (from the animes that I have watched) has the best/most consistent openings!😁🤭🙊 I really like their music. They had a song on that show old enough and I teared up while listening to it..

If you're reviewing anime that's heavy on the music, I would like to suggest Kids in the Slope or Sakamichi no Apollon. It's a coming of age anime that's centered on friendship, love, and music. It is so so good, I feel like it's absolutely underrated too.

If you want a good anime entry, there's the classic Death Note, which your sister will probably speak your ears off about. However, I think of the new animes, Chain Saw Man (CSM) is the best option with Attack on Titans as a close second. I rate CSM as a better entry anime because it only has a single season out, so it's less likely to overwhelm you.
As for anime music reactions, I would love for you guys to react to the CSM endings. Even though it has only a single season, each episode has a different ending song. So, 12 songs for about 20 minutes of watch-time. You guys can pick up which songs you liked the most to hear the full versions afterwards.

watch Your lie in April, it's amazing and makes you feel so happy and fulfilled at the end! hmm I would also recommend Attack on Titan (survival :D), Spy x Family, Jujutsu Kaisen, Haikyuu Assassination Classroom, Erased. Naruto is a good classic in terms of music and fights but it's kinda long.

For music theme anime that I think is very great is "Your Lie in April", "Carole and Tuesday", "Sound! Euphonium", and " Anonymous Noise" but Nana, K-On, La Corda d'Oro Primo Paso and Angel Beats is good too but with more storyline than just about music

Slam dunk, Hunter X hunter, Dragon ball Z, Naruto, One piece, Yuyu Hakusho, bleach, Fushigi Yugi, fairytale, and Full metal Alchemist are popular in the Philippines way back early 2000. 90's kids like me love those Animes and we will never forget those because it's all part of our life and gives us a lot of memories when we were kids.

I really recommend opening song "Chowa Oto ~with Reflection~" by amazing female artist Kokia from anime movie "Origins: Spirits of the Past", something really different. This anime is also great and there is second song by Kokia, "Ai Melody", on ending. I really recommend both songs, it would be great to see you reacting to them. :) Even if Kokia is amazing artist and her career started in 90s and she composing and performing music to anime and video games, she's not that much famous because her music is different, she is classically and operatically trained as vocalist what you can hear in her vocal abilities, even if she don't using any classical or operatic techniques often, and she making music in genres like pop, folk, neoclassical etc, her vocal technique is insane and her compositions are just beautiful and can be really different from each other.
You two should check the opening of KAIJU NO 8, ITS DONE BY YUNBLUD, AND THE ENDING DONE BY ONE REPUBLIC

Call me old school...the opening theme of Ghost Fighter (yu yu hakusho), and escaflone are all time favorites aside from the 1970s japanese robot animes like Voltes V (five) and Daimos.
I feel you should start with short anime series to start off slow and since music should be a strong point of the anime I suggest Angel Beats. Beautiful story with beautiful music. It can even be called a musical. The anime is mostly comedy with deep moments that hits you differently. Don’t blame me if you guys bawl your eyes out during those moments. It’s just sheer beauty. Only 12 episode long. For anime movie I will suggest “your name” or “kimi no nawa” if you haven’t watched it yet. Another beautiful musical masterpiece.
