i think ppl were overreacting to Stroud in the positive, but i kinda feel like now ppl are overreacting to the negative - i don't mind him in the second round per se - i think it makes more sense to be skeptical when you can get TLaw later (but i only have them separated by 13 spots anyway 🤷♂️)
My rankings were updated a couple of weeks ago yes. Rankings are not a draft guide. I say all the time that ranks or the tier sheet are not to be used as guide as well. Playing the board and finding the value differential is the best way to gain value. I don’t think Stroud sinks your team though. There is a difference between worst pick at cost and worst pick.
I would also mention that I have said for a long time I do not want to click non runners but am happy to acquire if I end up higher ona player than the market. - Tom
I think they always tlak about not ever wanting to draft non runners early in drafts on this program, I do not look at their ranks but that's the draft advice they give that I've heard.
ppl have shot baker into the 4th and Penix to the 5th? ahead of TLaw? jeez i just may not bother with any more startups than the one we're in - it's just too bizarre these days
Well Lawrence has been woefully bad and has yet to even produce at a brock Purdy level for fantasy. Pre Coen there is nothing really wrong with his price.
@@FantasyPoints ok imo woefully is an overstatement and i guess i base a greater percentage of what i think about a guy on what i see moving forward (and in this case talent, too) than on what has already been produced - also i think i do my tiers a certain way that causes some this mismatch - also, it's not even so much the price; yeah i think it's low, but it's more so about guys that go ahead of him i guess
If we worried about injuries a running back would never be drafted. Losing or getting a player dead wrong in the 6th round is a lot better for you than if it is the 1st or 2nd. Like Anthony Richardson teams last year.
@@Billman0780 Well there is that side of it as well, but our biggest point is that we just can't draft based on that in our opinion. I do not want to click Tua but in terms of cost and production he is a better click right now.
Never MHJ 💩
Never, ever, ever. We demand a price reduction.
never?????

honestly kinda same with MHJ - and in fact Kyler is the one that makes me worry in that equation
but maybe if i'm saying everyone is overreacting, i'm the problem lol
@@btthpod I am glad we went on the journey together lol
Buckler has solid insight & makes some real good points but I need some liveliness! The crackhead on the bus got put to sleep! Great content though
It can be tough to keep up with the crackhead energy Tom brings every week
Appreciate it lol. I'll be sure to bring the energy next time
@@FantasyPointshaha true true
@@andrewbuckler7816love the insight Buckler, don’t take it personal. Lots of crackheads in Winnipeg. Tom Tipple, exhibit A
With so many WRs on the board I find it hard to click one in the second round personally that isn't BTJ or Puka
That I understand for sure and don't blame you at all
Well I took stroud in 2 startups because I thought you said you updated your dynasty rankings at you have Stroud at QB7

@ I get that but if that’s how they think why is Stroud at 7 in the rankings
Rice in the 4th rd. I take him late second
Every single time without hesitation
ugh the hex view lol ❤

Tua? He’s 1 concussion away from retirement.
Hes not retiring even if he has 5 more concussion
