As an astronomer of partly American Indian heritage I am pro TMT BUT can relate to a lot of this. What she, Pua says at 29:40 is something that always bugged me about the new practice of naming astronomical objects with Hawaiian words, i.e. Omuamua or naming the black hole in Hawaiian. It has not been PC to point out among astronomers how that is just a 21st century version of, say naming a mountain after a American Indian Nation.... that isn't from the area...using a word they didn't use for themselves. Not being Native Hawaiian it wouldn't have been my place to point that out.

The Hawaiian Kingdom is still in continuity to this day. We have been under an illegal occupation by the United States of America for over 125 yrs. They have no jurisdiction beyond their borders to legally possess my home. The only way that could happen is if America annexed us. Which has never been accomplished. Therefore all Hawaiians and Native Hawaiians should be paying taxes to the Hawaiian Kingdom. All Foreign Entities set up by U.S. need to abide by Hawaiian Kingdom laws not the occupiers laws. These are color of titles not true sovereign title which is the allodial royal patent. color of titles are lifetime estates that goes back into allodium after their death. For example bishop estate land, lunalilo trust land they hold all their royal patent land but receive royalties from color of titles sold. crown and hawaiian goverment lands that were stolen and put under the control of OHA which is a american agency enacted by congress to steal all royalties received from the allodial lands. That money should go to kanaka but the state uses it to finance their budget shortfalls..you follow the land you follow thr money and then you find the dark secret how the land was stolen...all title in hawaii are defective and all kanaka have the true allodial rights and tenant rights to majority of all land in hawaii.
