Muchas gracias igual

  • @anpg224
    @anpg224 11 лет назад

    ¿Qué tipo de pedal es ése que me decís para pasar lo que toco en forma de mp3 a la pc? ¿Puede ser que el Boss Loop Station cumple ésta función? Aunque te digo que por lo que sale es lo mismo comprar el mic y la interface.
    Voy a descargar el PowerDirector a ver que tal, gracias por la buena onda como siempre!

  • @anpg224
    @anpg224 11 лет назад

    Claro ese es el problema, mi amplificador es un Hiwatt g100r transistorizado, que a mi gusto suena muy bien, pero no es con válvulas por lo que vos decís que no me va a servir microfonearlo ¿Verdad?
    Además, ¿Qué programa usas para editar el video? ¿Sony Vegas puede ser? Yo lo he visto un poco pero no le he agarrado la mano, sabiendo un poco más debes poder sacarle buen provecho me imagino. Gracias por tomarte la molestia y el tiempo de responder. Un saludo

    what is the name of your bridge humbucker in epiphone standard? i have one and i want to put one of these bcs i only have the epiphone originals and they are kinda week...

  • @Decalto35
    @Decalto35 11 лет назад

    great vid! Btw i'm trying out electric guitar for the first time, played acoustic for a while, and i'm deciding on between the epiphone les paul 1956 (which has those soapbar p90 pickups) or the slightly cheaper epiphone les paul pro plus top with those ProBuckers which they claim are supposed to be almost like Gibson BurstBuckers. Which one should i get? I'm hoping to play guns n roses songs and maybe some deep purple and i wanna get a similiar sound to the original.
    Thanks!

    ¿Y se necesita de una computadora muy potente para hacerlo funcionar bien fluido a éste programa y la interfaz? Es decir que sólo tendría que comprar el mic y la interfaz y ponerme a grabar. Gracias por los datos.
    Por cierto yo grabo con un smartphone de alta gama y obtengo algo bastante bueno, para que veas no se escucha tan mal ruclips.net/video/ftBQoFgNTno/видео.html ¿Vos que opinas? ¿Vale la pena comprar ahora los equipos? ¿Hay mucha diferencia en el sonido final? Gracias por la atención

  • @gewerh44
    @gewerh44  11 лет назад

    its a seymour duncan alnico II pro
    the epi stock pickups (alnico classic I think they call them) are ok, but theyre not real pickups if you ask me.
    An epiphone les paul improves its sound a lot with some seymours, gibsons or dimarzios.

    I cannot *NOT* play it again and again. By far the best "cover" I've heard of this song. I tried to play the song all by myself... The way you recorded the video, it's easy to "deconstruct" and understand each part.

  • @gewerh44

    Saludos!

    Oh no, I didnt do that.
    This is a Les Paul BFG, its the only Gibson model that comes with a humbucker on the bridge position and a P90 on the neck position.
    However, I would like to route the p90 cavity to fit a humbucker on the neck too.
    Ive searched about it and everybody says its very easy, the problem is, you need the right tools for the job (I dont have them).
    I might take it to a luthier, I recommend you to do the same :)
    best of luck!

    I bought this tab but I was wondering, how do you make slide sound good? When I use slide it sounds really sharp and ugly while you have the more deeper and more gain-like sound.

    • @gewerh44
      @gewerh44  10 лет назад +2

      well, it depends on the gear you have, you gotta figure out the best sound to set it to get the tone youre looking for.
      About slide technique itself, I used to play slide pretty bad when I started trying it. Sounded muddy and terrible xD but practice is the secret, right? just practice.

    casi cualquier pedalera hoy en día viene con opción USB para grabar directo a la pc. Todo lo que necesitas es tu guitarra, unos audífonos y un software de grabación en tu pc.
    Te puedo recomendar el Zoom G2.1u, el G2.1Nu, o el G3. De Line 6 salen buenos también los POD HD, yo tuve el HD300.
    Un Boos loop station es algo diferente, y sale muy caro.

    You definitely want to get a les paul with humbuckers then.
    Soapbars are awesome but youre gonna need to dial some nice slash'ish lead tones, but the p90s will deliver a lot of noise (remember theyre single pickups).
    I dont know the model you mention (epiphone les paul pro plus), but Im sure its a good one.
    The probuckers have nothing to do with the real gibson burstbuckers. If you ever change any epi stock pickups for the real deal, you'll see what Im talking about.
    Best of luck!

  • @gewerh44
    @gewerh44  11 лет назад +2

    It was a nice coincidence.
    Some people, including me, believe that the cover makes a pickup sound more creamy and bassy, with notes more like melted (its hard to explain). A pickup without cover sounds clearer.
    Anyways I was looking for more of that creamy tone on my neck pickup.
    Later I realized thats how JP's classic guitar looks like ;)

    Tu ampli va a sonar bien si lo microfoneas, pero el equipo que se necesita para microfonearlo costaría al menos 250 o 300 dólares, y la calidad de sonido que obtendrías, por tratarse de un ampli solid state, se podría lograr fácilmente de otra forma y con una inversión menor (algún pedal de efectos para grabación directa a la pc, o conectando tu guitarra a la pc y usar algún software como Guitar Rig).
    He usado powerdirector y sony vegas, pero mi favorito es Adobe premiere.

    • @gewerh44
      @gewerh44  3 года назад

      Ive heard that Billy used a different tuning for that solo, but I didnt know that at the time I recorded this video, so I used standard tuning on my slide solo.

  • @gewerh44
    @gewerh44  11 лет назад

    thanks my friend.
    Well, they do what most bands with only 1 guitarist do.
    Billy has to play the solos without rhythm guitar backing him. Also when he has to put the slide on for a solo, youd often stop listening to the guitar for a few seconds.
    Happend the same thing with Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin.
    But you rapidly forget the lack of rhythm guitar when listening for a while to the amazing skills and stage presence of this kind of lead guitarists.

    • @gewerh44

      In live performances he used only one guitar, however in the studio he would record several guitar tracks.
      Jimmy Page used to do the same. In the studio he arranged very complex songs with several guitar tracks, and when playing live he would just play the most important licks and riffs the best he can.

      I just dedicate a long time to listen to the song and write down what I figure out.
      Before I start this process, I always watch videos where I can see the original guitarist playing this song (live performances) so I get a general idea of how he is playing it, and where he is playing the notes or chords, and maybe catch some important details of his performance.
