I have both the Eversolo DMP-A6 and AMP-F2 driving a pair of Focal Chorus 826V ... I am blown away with how good the combination is. I've used Musical Fidelity X and M series kit before, and although it might not be quite as good as the top end M6 gear ... its friggin brilliant at the price point. I use it all day long in my home office. I switch between Tidal for quality listening to Spotify for general listening ... and to SSD ripped CDs (which it does an amazing job of too).
I have to agree ... the background noise is non-existent, just totally silent and that makes the music really pop out. The clarity of the trebles, and the deep and tight control of the bass is sensational. My musical taste are diverse ... from classical to opera to rock to pop to blues to trans and chillout tunes. Its fantastic at everything. Some people have commented about Eversolo being "bright" ... personally I think its totally sharp and articulate.
This has been the best purchase since I bought my MF X series stuff over 20 years ago. Just brilliant
Just bought mine to help add extra headroom to my Cinema 70. Works wonderfully. There was an initial humm but it was due to grounding issues not the amp and it was resolved easily..
This is a great video. I have been curious about this amp, and this piece helped me to decide on purchasing one. They were a little tricky to get in the U.S, but I was finally able to get one and just installed it this evening. It's everything you said it was and more, frankly. My use case is a near field desktop setup, and it's simply fantastic. It's a little edgy out of the box, but with just 4 hours on the clock, she is already starting to open up. Huge upgrade to my system! Thanks again for the piece on this great amp.
I had a standard Eversolo A6 streamer on loan back in January and thought it was excellent. I just bought the A6 Master Edition, and have the F2 amp arriving on Saturday. I'm very impressed with what Eversolo have achieved in the market and a affordable cost too. Thanks for the video, I'm really looking forward to combining these units.
Greetings from Romania. I listened to this power amplifier last week for several hours in combination with RME Adi 2dac fs and Harbeth P3ESR speakers. At first I used RCA cables and it didn't perform badly at all. Switching to balanced cables was another "story". The sound improved considerably from all points of view. Different sound image, greater transparency and better control of low frequencies .Although it is a bit colder and drier for my taste, the performance of this amplifier was delightful.
Very likey you just heard the 6 db gain that XLR offers over RCA. Placebo effect(XLR is touted as sounding "better" than RCA)..
Good afternoon and thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated. XLR or balanced is not always a path to a better sound, but it can be in some set-ups and indeed the reverse can also be true where RCA can sound better. It is always system dependent and in this case, we feel the ES sounds better balanced (even when the additional gain of XLR has been adjusted out of th eequaltion). Thanks again, Mark :)
Eversolo is a very smart outfit, they make reasonably affordable outstanding products.
They are fantastic bang for the buck!
Thank you 🍻🍻

Bought these with the DMP-A6 master edition to power my GoldenEar Triton 5s
Amazing little combination
I have a DMP-A6 and AMP-F2 running into Revival Audio ATALANTE 3 and it’s amazing, the ATALANTE 3’s are hard to drive and this AMP has enough power to run them to there full potential which several AMP’s I have tried at more than triple the cost of these could not do.
Hi David
Great to hear you are loving your set up and your experience mirrors that of our own too!
Appreciate the message and thanknyou for taking the time to comment.
It really is a fantastic amplifier!

Mark :)
I heard Atalante with Nagra int amp last week. Sound quite bad.
Ordered one yesterday! Are going to use it with Sonus faber and Embla classic as preamp.
Congrats. I am using the Sonus Faber Lumina II with mine. I love the pairing. Enjoy.
Sounds great, what can you compare it to in terms of sound performance. Or is this just a sales pitch...
Good afternoon
We had the opportunity to comopare this amplifier with a Quad Artera that we had taken as a part exchange (costs twice as much) and in my opinion the ES was better.
The sound it produces is mainly neutral with a slight hint of warmth - the perfect balance in my opinion.
Cheers
Mark :)
The Starke NS600 module that the AMP-F2 has is based on the TPA3255 chip. In which case, how much difference in performance is there, going from Fosi Audio or AIyima amps to this? I guess someone will answer this question soon enough.
Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if Eversolo does OEM/ODM work for Starke Sound.
Thanks for the review. I am waiting to get demo Amp F2 for the test. I will use it with Denon avc - x4800h and Klipsch RP 8000F.
This demo stayed with me, 25 hours of play at the dealer and a great price. I have an xtz edge a 2-300 at home that plays great, but the Eversolo is a warmer sound, like it's not a class d amp. For its official price, in any case, worth buying.
I have the A6 ME hooked to Denafrips Iris DDC and Denafrips Pontus 2 via I2S. I’m currently using a Willsenton R8i 50W class A SET amp with rolled tubes. The only reason for getting the F2 would be the extra power and how it sounds V my current tube amp. into my Kef ls50 metas ( wld upgrade to the R3 metas sometime later this year ).
Tremendous value for the dollar per watt minded!
For that price it is good but not great. I have three of the Starke AD4 320 and they are very underpowered. Audio Science Review has a review. Had to bi-amp my speakers to get them to sound right but they sound decent now. Part of the reason I bought them is because of their physical size that matches my smaller 19”x19”x15” high custom shelf. They fit perfectly. But I had to use twice the channels I wanted to for my home theater so I have to get something else.
Unbeatable value for performance Duo!! The front facia of these two don’t really “match”, except for the “slotted” sides of each unit. While the rating of 1%THD isn’t an eye catcher, you mentioned that Blacks being good and deep, and with program coming from the A6ME, which boasts lower measurements, this was your most important observation as it’s the key to reproducing great sound staging and imaging. Snobs here aren’t realizing how fast Digital Amplification has matured. And anyone should, with a money back trial period, for so little coin get one and try before you belittle this as a “cheap digital amplifier”! Be very interesting to hear your comparison with the flagship PreAmp from Eversolo!!??
Hi Mark
Thank you for the review, as always was very good, useful and full of passion.
Another excellent product from Eversolo, I expected it, and I would have been very surprised if it wasn't so. My setup was together with Eversolo DMP-A8 and Opera Callas speakers, I listened to vinyl (some very good quality presses) but also files stored on a NAS. The sound is clean, I quickly noticed the very good reproduction of the timbres of the instruments and the full, consistent bass. Then I noticed something interesting, that it sounds very good at low volume, those who live in an apartment and can upset neighbors understand what I mean. It's like activating the loudness filter on the player, only it sounds much more natural. Compared to another power that I own, also in class D and much more powerful and several times more expensive, it has less punch and the stage is a little narrower, but instead it has more delicacy and the stage is deeper. It's worth all the money.
Good morning Bogdan and thank you for your feedback and sharing your experiences with the A8 and the F2. A trully loveyl and great value for money combination. Cheers, Mark 😊
I would go with Orchard Audio Starkrimson over these…
But good to see they are continually coming out with new products.
Very nice. It looks like if it might fit Darko's Kalax Fi form factor.
Hi mark….do you think this amplifier paired with an eversolo source the dmp 6 master would be superior to the naim uniti atom.
Thanks

Hi Mark,
Really pleased to see this review, I have been waiting for it! Can you confirm wether there is a way to use the A6 to trigger the power on/off of the F2 please? I can see trigger input on the amp but not on the A6...
Like the sound on your 30 day trial too. Very very tempting!
I believe the amp comes with a USB to 3.5mm trigger cable you can use with the usb out on the back of the eversolo dmp-a6. most trigger inputs will work with between 3.3v to 12 volt so the 5v from the usb port will work to turn on the speaker amp
Hi MIke, there is a USB adapter in the box to let you connect it to the A6 standard trigger :) We are getting low on physical stock of these, so give Andrew Forsyth a call on the main showroom number: 01334 570666 :) He can get you sorted with your 30-day trial. Cheers, Mark :)
How do you hook up a subwoofer to this amp? Is it amp to subwoofer via wire, then subwoofer to speakers?
You can use one of the additional pre-outs from your Pre/streamer (A6/A8) or connect via wire at the amplifier end. Class D needs careful connection this way, so always check with your sub manufacturer.
@@EliteAudioUK Can you explain "one of the pre-outs" on the A6? What are these? The RCA jacks? Do I just plug my subwoofer directly into these jacks?
Yes. Use Xlr to the amp and RCA to your sub. Works like a charm
The aesthetics are fine as individual products, but as a pair Eversolo could have done alot better. Missed opportunity but still would be very interested .
Good morning Simon
Thanks for your valuable feedback. I understand where you're coming from, design is always subjective.
However, the real magic of the AMP-F2 lies in its performance.
Great to hear that you're still interested despite your reservations about the aesthetics. I hope you'll find that the superior audio experience it offers far outweighs any design concerns.
I really appreciate your interest and encourage you to stay tuned for more reviews on our channel!

When is the Master Edition released🤔
Hi Graham, thats a great question and given the connection with Starke Sound on the overall design, I'm not sure of we will see a Master version in the future, but who knows! Cheers, Mark :)
I suppose you did not discuss power consumption, efficiency, how hot to the touch this class-D unit runs because that is taken for granted these days that class-D runs excels in these respects. I am currently using an old Lexicon D8 for about 15 years now without issue - for surround and music distribution. I’m impressed by it, but it does “buzz” when I mute my pre-amp for some reason, but I love that it runs cool (it has 8X100 watts in a chassis that is 1 inch high). Any comments on F2 in terms of efficiency, noise floor, etc., of the overall progress in class-d amplification over the past 10 years?
Nice review my friend! I just subscribed and will be watching you. I love your accent and had to chuckle thinking about you and I having a conversation. BTW, I am a hillbilly audiophile from Northeast Tennessee.
Putting the A6 into that amp, i would think 18 tog speakers required .
Can’t get it shipped to the US
So this has no volume control or remote? Volume is done by the pre-amp and and controlled by the Eversolo app?
It’s a power amp, so yeah.
So I bought the Eversolo AMP-F2 based on this review - it's pretty much the only one out there - and paired it with the Eversolo DMP-A6 and a pair of Elac Uni-Fi Reference ubr62 speakers. I have to say... I'm very disappointed. The sound is not clear in the mids and a lot of what is supposed to be quiet jazz is blaring and fatiguing. I have a good sub attached to the system. Maybe it's just me but I was expecting more. I find myself returning to my little Windows pc system with a Topping DAC and cheap Edifier speakers. I could have saved myself close to $5000 Canadian and just stuck with that.
Upgrade your PS on your A6. Master edition will be a good upgrade too. Alternative go for a better dac as the mids is missing and highs lacking a little on the standard A6. How did you connect it. Xlr to amp and RCA too sub? I tried RCA splitters and that was a mistake on the A6 ME with upgraded PSU. Xlr to amp and RCA to sub helped a lot.
You need to come out of your shell and tell us what you really think .😂
Great video and your enthusiasm and passion to guide and inform people and introduce us to different levels of hifi gear really made me want to watch more of your videos. I found your channel by accident, but your approach is excellent and I have enjoyed watching a few of your videos. Keep it up. I have subscribed 👍
Thank you.

Good morning Gary and thank you for your feedback. Yes, you could say I was impressed ;) - I think its amazing value for money. Thanks for watching and I really appreciate you subscribing too, it means a lot :) Cheers, Mark
Is this company related to starke sound?
Will be interested to give this a listen. I have always favoured a “warmer”, and less forward, sound. Upon buying my current Power Amp I was warded off anything Digital, and was set to buy a Class AB ‘Parasound’ NewClassic 2250 v.2. But due to availability issues I ended up trying the little known ‘ZoneMaster Model 2350’, their only Digital Power Amp, and with 375W into 8ohms. It has ended up being a beautifully detailed, warm sounding Amp, with a fantastic soundstage, with the sound seemingly coming from behind the Speakers and enveloping you. A much more organic sound than the ‘Audiolab’ 7000A I lived with for 6 months, which was fatiguing by comparison. It’s never been dry or clinical either, something I’ve always been sensitive to. The best amplifier I’ve ever owned, and certainly opened me up to the idea of Digital Amps.
1% THD is not few. Cheap class D often sounds dry and sterile with flat imaging. Sadly you almost did not talk about imaging and if the amp sounds analytic/neutral/warm. Reviewing means you have to address the elephant in the room, but kudos to you being the first to present this amp.
Good morning and thank you for the feedback. The amplifier sounds very neutral to my ear - I tested it with another set up after the video and its very neutral. It really is a brilliant amp :) The imaging is also class leading for its price. :)
Ya, no pun intended, frequencies at yours and mine age will sound neural 😁
I’m sure that you will agree that Class D amps have come a long way in sound quality. I believe that these amps are the future of HIFI and are here to stay. I do not have one yet but I will wait a little longer and find something affordable. My Marantz amp is performing good for me but I do see a Class D in the future.
@@larryschwartz9883 yes I agree that class D constantly makes progress, but cheap amps usually do not sound satisfyingly.
They should have used Hypex or Purifi class D module, or at the very least ICEPower
Eversolo marketing department are simple brilliant!
They are? This amp is a 2 channel version of Starke Sound's own Fiera4.
Here we go again...
Their different colors, so aesthetics are what? Obviously the chassis are made by different manufacturers. A seller making a review, ok?
Exactly my thoughts, they are a complete mismatch from every angle..different size, color,...in fact it is just a slightly smaller sized Starke. I´m starting to lose my faith in your channel very quickly 🤔
Good morning :)
It's clear that you're passionate about audio equipment, and we appreciate your honest feedback. In terms of design, the Eversolo AMP-F2 indeed has its unique aesthetic (Starke Audio) which might not align with everyone's taste. The different size and front panel texture/color compared to their streamers may seem like a mismatch, but these design choices are often intentional to ensure the device can fit into various setups and cater to a wider range of customers.
As for the comparison with Starke, it's worth noting that the AMP-F2 is based on Starke Sound's NS600 Class D amplifier module. This means it inherits Starke's high-quality components and design elements, resulting in an amplifier that delivers excellent sound quality and significant power output.
We understand that aesthetics play a role in the overall satisfaction with a product, but we try to focus primarily on the performance and value that a piece of equipment brings to the table. We believe the Eversolo AMP-F2 excels in these areas with its high noise reduction, and dynamic performance.
That being said, we always strive to improve and your feedback is invaluable for us. We hope you'll stick around and continue to engage with our content. We're all here because we love audio and want to learn from each other.
Cheers, Mark :)
@@EliteAudioUK Thanks for your kind reply, I also understand that you have somehow commercial interest with the different companies and you handle with respect to all. In the end for me also the sound is the most important so let´s focus on this 😉
This amp is made by Starke Sound in California.
It is clear this is a commercial channel. If you ask about alternatives (i asked about Lumin d3) you do not get objective or test based answers. I do not doubt the Eversolo equipment is interesting due to its price quality but you do not get an objective overview here. Cambridge is also launching interesting alternatives at his moment. So be aware of that!
Sounds like a good amp, although I’m almost positive Eversolo didn’t “literally pull a rabbit out of the hat”. And even if they did literally pull a rabbit out of the hat, what’s that got to do with amplifiers?
It seems to be a weird product, already seen two being dumped for a low price shortly after purchase.
Unfortunately, this setup lacks a true preamp as the streamer does not have tone/ balance controls. I own both versions, the standard edition with a integrated amp and the master edition with my genelec s in balanced output.
Balance -> useless in any (I mean ANY) situation, doesn't solve issues.
Tone controls -> really? You get a digital parametric EQ and miss analog TCs?
Yeah, what do designers and engineers of integrated amp know.
Alot as the majority of integrated amps do not come with them.some manufacturers do supply but most seem to exclude them although on the budget end they seem more common. @@air870
@@air870
Prove me wrong.
I rather let the designers/ engineers do that. If I see pre amps or integrated amps come out without balance and tone controls, I will change my opinion. Till let's agree to disagree

CRIKEY !!! I always laugh at any Dealer or Manufacturer who tells their customers that any given product requires anything over a single day of ''BURN IN'', especially when it's stated as a Prerequisite of their Return Policy, LOL!
GTFOH!
FYI, 300 HOURS of ''BURN IN'' is the equivalent of over THIRTY-SEVEN 8-Hour DAYS!!! So there goes your 30 Day Return Policy!
And WHY should the CUSTOMER have to pay for and waste 300 Hours of Electricity for this so called ''Burn In'' period???
IF 300 Hours (or ANY amount) of ''BURN IN'' time is required, the MANUFACTURER or DEALER should be responsible for performing such ''Burn In'' PRIOR to the sale of the product!!!
The Customer should NOT have to wait ANY time at all in order to actually enjoy what they have paid for!!!
Over the years, I've owned several extremely precise oscilloscopes and other high tech test & measurement gear, some costing over $8k-$12k when new.
Guess what? Absolutely ZERO of those manufacturers EVER stated any need for these very complicated and precise electronic test instruments to require ANY length of ''Burn In'' before their use in order for them to be 100% usable and 100% accurate.
These devices are required to be orders of magnitude more precise and stable/consistent than any simple audio amplifier.
And let's remember that these devices also have built-in power supplies just like an audio amplifier, with some having both digital and analog circuits that require multiple specific voltages and current requirements.
And another thing:
These extremely Precise and Sensitive electronic test devices that need to have exceptionally low spurious internal noise are supplied with standard UL/CE/ISO certified ''plain Jane'' POWER CABLES with no fancy or esoteric shielding, no special or oversized silver or cryogenically-treated wire conductors or insulation jacket, or any ridiculous oversized/unique plugs!!!
So do you HONESTLY believe that your much less sensitive and less precise audio amplifiers or other ''High-End'' audio electronics need some type of special ''Audiophile'' power cable??? Any accredited EE will simply laugh at the suggestion and shake his/her damn head.
/END OF RANT
Good afternoon @bbfoto7248
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns. We appreciate your perspective and understand where you're coming from.
The concept of a 'burn-in' period is indeed a topic that has been debated in the audio community. While some may not find it necessary, we've observed that certain products do benefit from an extended burn-in period, which can lead to an enhanced audio experience over time. However, we do agree that this should not hinder the enjoyment of the product from day one. (Interestingly Conrad Johnson used to state 6-months on their website!)
As for the power consumption during the burn-in period, we understand your concern. Ideally, the manufacturer or dealer would handle the burn-in period. However, due to logistical challenges and costs, this isn't always possible.
Regarding the use of special 'audiophile' power cables, it's true that many high-end electronics come with standard cables. Some audiophiles, however, find that upgrading their cables can make a noticeable difference in sound quality. It's a personal preference, and we respect all viewpoints on this matter.
We value your feedback and will strive to provide the best possible service and advice based on our experiences and the experiences of our customers. Thank you again for engaging with us. We appreciate your passion for audio and look forward to continuing the conversation.
Best Regards,
Mark

@bbfoto7248 audiophoolery is a religion.
Burn is real. I have experience it several times with tube amps. You may not believe it or experienced it but many others have.
Quality cables and connectors matters. Wich you can see in non audio high end electrical setups aswell. This is because interference is a issue in many aspects AS all EE knows. Now discuss how much things are worth and you have my ear, but don't come with a blatant it doesn't matter and use professional expertise as a argument.
Nothing special. Starke makes the Fiera4 that offers 4 channels and frequently goes on sale for $999.
well, they are a no trick pony.,. The streamers have serious problems that no reviewers dare to say.. exept for Stjernholm reviews.. :)
What do you mean by the streamers have serious problems, what streamers are you talking about?
he's referring to the recent clickbait video Stjernholm reviews posted where he nitpicks incredibly minor UI quirks he doesn't like and presents them as if they are major problems. I lost what little interest I had in that guys content after he pooped out that video@@anthony2010707
I tested the A6, I had the A6 Master edition, now I have the A8. Please tell me what those serious problems are because I didn't notice them, I'm more inattentive by nature.
PS Stjernholm should do reviews only on septic tanks, he is not capable of anything else
