According to Valentina in the rogue-like story, it is confirmed that changing your garment does indeed change your mindset enough to affect your arcanum.
I love the direction Reverese is giving Sophia. In general, the game has some of the best writing I've seen from a game. Aside from the other comment, the numbers capella song involving the aperion group pretty much foreshadows the loss of fate of the island in a very blatant way, looking back. Sophia leaves at the mention of 2 (in reference to root2 probably), followed by 218, and finally 6. 37 is all alone in the room before departing on the lyric: "what is truth?" If there any gripe I have, its probably that I wish we got a way to see events through Sophia's perspective, like instead of giving the extra closing chapters for a Sonetto skin, I kinda wished it could have been the chapters where we see Sophia's frustrations and resentment thats only implied in the main story, it could have also showcase a lot of the prejudice does without a number could face (which could also reenforce the uniqueness of 37 as a person), it also gives us time to see a relationship growing with Arcana. So I hope in the feature we do get more from her since I believe her character has the potential to be one of the most compelling in the game.
I believe they will definitely show more Sophia since I agree she has a ton of potential! To see her in the future, and to see how she conforms more to Maus’s ideals will be really interesting. 🤔

The way she always takes advantage of people when they are at their lowest (like even Vertin and Schneider, Isolde was already at rock bottom tho)... Damn I love Reverse1999 Also there's many "fun" facts about Sophia's battle theme. The first few notes (and the main melody) are "E B E B E B", and if you use the number sight-seeing system translates to " 3 7 3 7 3 7" Also, if you overlap "Me inside the bottle" (Sophia's theme) and "Kingdom of Numbers" (which is pretty much 37's theme), they blend together perfectly, both soundtrack bounce off each other. Also they have the same beat per minute, there's just a one second difference between each song's lenght. iirc someone did post a video of the two theme overlapped together, and it really sounds like a musical conversation between the two.. So between Sophia and 37. I'm almost certain that if 37 and Sophia fight again the battle theme will just be both their themes at the same time So yea, Sophia's battle theme was most likely already completed even before chapter 5 released😭
just share one thing that might make you cry, the bgm of fighting with √2 is called "me insode the bottle", and if you understand music and math, you will find the element of 37 and √2 in the music, and I watch how other people explaining about this song, it kinda tell the story of how √2 finally find her number and goal, and how world of matter finally crush her believe. also there is another bgm "Kingdom of Numbers" from version 1.4, chapter 5, they share the similar structure and able to remix together well. people said "Kingdom of Numbers" is representing 37 and "me inside the bottle" is song about √2😢
