Leicester Cathedral is closed until autumn 2023. You can visit the gardens at Belgrave Hall on Wednesdays but the house hasn't been used as a museum for a long time.
Leicester itself is an eyesore, many shut down shops or turned into takeout, dessert parlour etc which are NOT typical of England, and the Richard III centre is extremely expensive and not that great for such a wide subject and the fact the coffin is held in Leicester

Leicester is not abundant with trees ! Whole housing estates without greenery makes the area look deserted and the hard water area is tastebud dilute .

Yes, it's almost tree less city centre,no flowers etc like other cities,eg Nottingham
