As a student living in Rotterdam, it makes me a little proud to see Rotterdam in this game. Just to show how far the game developers have gone, much of the Dutch spoken in this and the next level is Rotterdams or at least Dutch with a Rotterdam accent. It is no coincidence that one of the targets is called Rutgert. Rutger is quite a common first name in the Netherlands, but I have never heard of a Rutgert. This T at the end is added, because a true Rotterdammer (or Rotterdammert) likes add a T to every possible word he can reasonably add it to.
@@nicocontreras5366 I know this is late, but he says ''Ok, loop maar door.'' which means basically ''Ok, you can keep walking.'' or ''Ok, go on ahead.''
I appreciate the non English dialogue and accents. The new HITMAN games are great by the same grating American accents in Paris, in Thailand and everywhere else is so ridiculous it really hurts the games.
It would be more challenging for 47 to accomplish his mission when it takes place on a non-English speaking country. But then again, 47 loves a challenge, he doesn't do standard hits! So why couldn't IO Interactive hire native people for voice acting for the rest of the levels, apart from India?
I think it because the whole game (except Hunter and Hunted) are based-on 47's serial of nightmares. and I'm pretty sure that the world's best assassin like him won't have more sweet dreams than nightmares.
2021, and I absolutely love how when we (English mains) don't understand what a character is saying in this level; we can ask those who stumble upon this video and translate for us :) PS I just try not get caught to go next level, never thought of SA rating until I grew older
Im Dutch and I love how much emphasis there is on the location, some of the voice actors have a Rotterdam accent, the surnames are extremely Dutch and the uniforms and cars of the police are super accurate as well.
The voices of the man and woman that fighting in the beginning, are I think from the Dutch tv show Flodder! I'm not completely sure, but the voices sound familiar to me.
Because 47 is mostly used as a hired assassin against someone who elude the law because of their wealth, power and corruption. I mean, he is like a Punisher, but working for money and for underground "agency"
Well out of all of 47s targets pretty much all of them are scum. The Swing King wasn't so bad. A accident ruined him and made someone send 47 onto him. Also worth noting is it seems like from Blood Money onwards unless you are a target of 47 he would leave you alone. In 2 and contracts he has no issues killing otherwise innocent people.
@@803dils2 Yup just pathetic white man couldnt work on his plantation or at least pay black people to do it. Haha not to mention how many black women white men have knocked up.
Dude I'm playing this on a PS2 hooked up to a smart TV and the spot around 2:47 I can't see unless I use NVGs. The settings are on max brightness already. I need a new(old) TV.
My route is sneak through the factory 2nd floor to get the biker clothes. Exit via emergency stairs to the warehouse yard. Go across the yard, enter the warehouse where 1 guard is guarding a door. Flip the switch to distract him, and run to the door. Climb the ladder, look through keyhole, if the timing is right then you should see the boss. Wait for him to leave, enter room and take shortcut via gym. Wait for him to enter his room, look through keyhole again, sneak when he go to the bathroom and wire him there. Take keycard, safe combination and the gold gun, take photo from safe, run to stairs go to the basement, sneak your way to the torture room, and flip the switch. Exit via lower right door to the yard, back to the factory, and exit from where you came. Quite longer, but you don't have to sedate the reporter.
@@scottylewis8124 Contracts is definitely dark. It's a really well made game....so much so I got the remastered version for the PS3. I love how they use the local language and make it as authentic as possible. Really makes it immersive and artistic.
strange when in hitman the Npc spoke their own language depending on the country. Although in the new trilogy they did something similar, but it does not reach this level
Awesome to have Clutch playing! This song (along with Puressence's Walking Dead that played in next level after this one) should've been in the fucking Agent 47 film and the soundtrack!
All the missions are rainy nights because hitman is having flashbacks during a rainy night. Sooo dope

Why it's not True?

"I am immortal." Badass song

@mattaddison19 They use too many of what I call "Stock voice actors" that you hear in a 100 other games.
This. I am annoyed that in a small town in Italy everyone speaks British English.

A character involved with a biker gang with the name Teller? That's a funny and crazy coincidence
The ONLY mission i could do in silent assassin rank without watching any tutorial hahahaha
Easiest mission in my opinion
One of the best soundtracks in the entire series.

Rotterdam have bar/club with Confederate Flags and American Biker outfits? Interesting...
