It's such a shame that Home Free's originals don't get the listens they deserve on "the" youtube. 😆 They could sing my tax form and I'd be mesmerized. Just sayin'. Thanks DJ! 🍟

I love the shout out to the DJs about not playing their music. The kids playing baseball are representing Babe Ruth one of the greatest baseball players.

Austin is really hitting his song writing stride, just love his originals. Did you catch the mention of the DJ's not playing their music. The kids playing baseball is a reference to the Great Babe Ruth. This is one of my favorites from this album, they just make such great music !!!

Great song. Fun video. Love the Willie braids. And the poke in the eye for all the radio programmers who don't/won't play their music.

Thanks for your reaction. What another great original song! Love the nostalgic feel of this song & the video. They mention a few of the country greats in this song. Also think it is a nod to the great baseball legend Babe Ruth. Austin sings about Willie (Nelson) at one point. Think his braids are an homage to Willie. Love Tim's lower tone in the verse he sings. And Adam is awesome as usual. These guys are so talented & in a league by themselves.

The lyrics have so many nods to songs that Luke and Garth did. All the way through the song, words/phrases are plucked from their songs - as the "Always on your (my) mind" from Willie. Such great writing by Austin and Andrew! Austin said that the lyrics originally said "will you remember me?" but when it came time to actually use them he decided he wanted a more positive note, so they were rearranged to be "you WILL remember me!"

So good! Yeah I think Adam was channeling his inner R2D2. Crazy good. Yes, Austin was channeling his Willie Nelson. The little boy was channeling Babe Ruth who used to point to where he would hit the ball. Pretty good song right?!! 😍😃

I was never a big country music fan before I started listening to HF, so I checked out the artists mentioned in the songs and found that the years mentioned with each one were always a couple of years before the artist got really famous. Austin has said on his TikTok that he wants to perform his original solo music on the stage at the Grand Ole Opry someday. I'm sure that was part of the inspiration for this song (which he co-wrote). I'm pretty sure the batter was supposed to be Babe Ruth.

Their So Long Dixie album is mostly originals, and I think their Timeless album was too. They also have some original Christmas songs that are really good in addition to their great Christmas covers. And their cover of Auld Lang Syne is a MUST for New Year's Eve.

    Each verse has the name:
Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, some version of their songs. (I honestly don't know any songs really by name but I stopped listening to newer country around 2000 or so)
Garth Brooks -- take a chance on a (The) Dance with man making friends in the lowest of times (Friends In Low Places was Garth Brooks first release in 1989. ``I'm also a born and raised and still live in Oklahoma girl``)
Willie Nelson released Redheaded Stranger in 1975 (I know this because Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain is on the album) but he recorded Always On My Mind in the early 80s.
I don't know if the kid is supposed to be Babe Ruth or Mickey Mantle, but he's representative of a famous baseball player. I know Mickey Mantle was born in *very* a small town here in Oklahoma.
At the beginning when you said Remember The Name, I thought 'when did they cover Fort Minor?' ;)
