The Prophet said: “Whoever makes Istighfar frequently, Allah will provide a way for him out of every distress and provide for him from sources he could never expect.”
Allaah says in Qur'aan (interpretation of the meaning):
.. And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).
And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allaah, then He will suffice him.
Verily, Allaah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allaah has set a measure for all things.
.. and whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.

SubhanAllah, I was in tears when I saw the masjid. We have caused this punishment. When we had the chance to be at the masjid, we did not go for so many excuses. Today, our hearts cry to be there but we cannot be there. We are deprived of this blessing because when we had the opportunity, we took the blessings for granted. Oh Allah forgive us and have mercy upon us.
Sh Yasir's reminder and khutbah hit home really hard. May Allah accept accept him and forgive us.
Not going to the masjid is not the cause of coronavirus

Ultimately we will never know why Allah does anything. Neither does it matter why. It is not our business as His creation to bother with these things. Though I understand why some of us often feel we need these answers. However, as believers, our true nature is that “we hear and we obey” - Qur’an 2:285. We shouldn’t always need a calamity in order to be reminded of Allah. Our remembrance of Him should be consistent, during good or bad. May Allah make it easy. Ameen.
Now we must come back to Allah (swt), our creator

Assalamualaikum
Shaykh,
Alhamdulliah! You have delivered a strong and useful messages for the Muslims in your Jummah Khutba at this critical juncture the whole global world is facing for our own misdeeds, sins, oppressions and illegitimate things.
The people of the global world, specially the non Muslims need to learn and ponder as to how they are being locked down at their own homes (self imprisoned- just to breathe for a new life).
Muslims who have been locked down in and around the globe, hardly had anything to do with this unavoidable shutdown.
This came/emerged as a 'Curse' , which they earned by their own hands through all kinds of misdeeds, wrongdoings, anger of Allah swt, sufferings and oppressions to the people and the Muslim nations.
Jazakallah o khair'Ann kseeer for such Reminder.. 🙂 Taqa'bal'llaahu m'inkum.. Aameen

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ خَمْسٌ إِذَا ابْتُلِيتُمْ بِهِنَّ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ تُدْرِكُوهُنَّ لَمْ تَظْهَرِ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي قَوْمٍ قَطُّ حَتَّى يُعْلِنُوا بِهَا إِلاَّ فَشَا فِيهِمُ الطَّاعُونُ وَالأَوْجَاعُ الَّتِي لَمْ تَكُنْ مَضَتْ فِي أَسْلاَفِهِمُ الَّذِينَ مَضَوْا . وَلَمْ يَنْقُصُوا الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ إِلاَّ أُخِذُوا بِالسِّنِينَ وَشِدَّةِ الْمَؤُنَةِ وَجَوْرِ السُّلْطَانِ عَلَيْهِمْ . وَلَمْ يَمْنَعُوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ إِلاَّ مُنِعُوا الْقَطْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَلَوْلاَ الْبَهَائِمُ لَمْ يُمْطَرُوا وَلَمْ يَنْقُضُوا عَهْدَ اللَّهِ وَعَهْدَ رَسُولِهِ إِلاَّ سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ فَأَخَذُوا بَعْضَ مَا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ . وَمَا لَمْ تَحْكُمْ أَئِمَّتُهُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَيَتَخَيَّرُوا مِمَّا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ بَأْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ "
It was narrated that "Abdullah bin "Umar said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned to us and said: "O Muhajirun, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of their wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break their covenant with Allah and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will cause them to fight one another.'"

A Word of Wisdom: you have to get past the Wrath and Anger of Allaah in order to find His Love, and that is not to fear Him when He's in an Avengeful State. Thus, don't fear Him, but bear as a good burden of what the consequences are from His Destruction, by which the meek shall inherit the Earth!
Wrath is what enters a person (like a virus or a bacteria, etc.), and anger is what surrounds a person (like an earthquake or tsunami, etc.).

13:11 Surah Al Ra'd
We need khilafah the ummah and the world needs Allahs ahkam and justice. Not unjust man made laws they call democracy. Call for Khilafah call for Islam! I heard Hizb ut tahrir work for Khilafah .Where is the justice today? why do the scholars not address the injustices and guide the ummah with Quran and sunnah?

1 one point I need to reflect openly, what if Allah swt has made these "experts" to cause this fasad by purpose being part of a business plan which will unpack in the coming weeks into antiviral selling. Which one of our experts is able to see these "experts" and to see the fasad? are we not sleeping still? Without sight we have no guard and are like children, innocent and falling.
May Allah safeguard and make the umma awaken for the time is up. amin
