Wemby the DPOY and will be in the All NBA 2nd Team next season! First Team ALL NBA and the league's MVP will be on his 3rd season and onwards!! =) Go Spurs Go!!
The scary thing is...infelt like he could have gotten even more blocks because there were many times he didnt help on what would have been very obvious and easy blocked shots
"...top 10, maybe top 5 player in the NBA next year"? He's already clearly a top 10 player RIGHT NOW. Joker, Luka, Jaylen Brown, Tatum, SGA, maybe KD and Booker, maybe LeBron, maybe Giannis, and Embiid if he could stay healthy. I'm struggling to think of 10 players better than Wemby. I'd say he's already top 5. The only player I'd take right now clearly over Wemby would be Joker. I'd love to hear your top 10.
@@brushylake4606 my top 13 from last season (when fully healthy) was Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Kawhi, Luka, LBJ, SGA, AD, KD, Steph, Mitchell, Booker, Tatum. I think Wemby could jump a lot of them next season
@@SkalHoops I don't disagree with that list, the key qualifier being "when fully healthy". To me, Embiid, AD, and Kawhi are injured so often (and injured when they're really needed) that they fall off that list. I think by the end of next season, Wemby will be top 3, behind Jokic and SGA. It'll be fun to watch. I enjoyed the video and will subscribe. I watched a couple of your other videos and think you're doing a great job. You're at least as good as anyone on ESPN or FS1.
Ive got news for you, Spurs havent got nearly what a team needs to be a contender, so they are still going to tank this year, and Wemby is going to be part of that.
The Chris Paul move makes it obvious that this isn't a tank year. The Spurs will be a play in team and they'll be preparing for the future. They have Atlanta's unprotected pick and Chicago's top 10 protected pick. They'll hope for the best from those picks. They'll have up to 3 lottery picks in a stacked draft. They're not going to tank.
I'll give you Utah, Memphis and Portland. Houston will move up this year. Which means the Spurs would have to beat *two* of the other teams in the West to claw at the play in. I dont see it happening with that lineup. Chris Paul alone wont take them from a .268 to the >.550 they need to be to have a shot.

Why not?
