My theory for what’s to come I think Sakayanagi will be expelled next volume however before she is she will transfer Ayanokoji into her class to replace her as leader on the condition that he will have her class graduate from Class A. I think this is going to be the case because Ayanokoji sees her class as a superior version to his class now, the fact that he wants to face off against Horikita, the fact that he wants to see how Ichinose will act once she sees him as an enemy, and wants to see how Ryuen grows. Plus it will help answer the question to see if a defective product can become superior.
Knew the author was going to Expel Arisu. Ryuen had to much potential, while Arisu was already top dog to begin with so there was little growth for her to have anymore. She literally destroyed Ryuen.

NGL, I didn't like Koji's strategy went so smothly, he literally ask for a favor to someome who he already owned one. Also he made a mess of all the classes except Ryunen's one.

If the favor you’re referring to is related to the one ryuen did for him by helping convey the message, you gotta understand that while he may not act like it, ayanokoji is on the borderline of being his idol, and he wanted to show him that he was dominant enough to beat sakayagani all while helping him with his message, ayanokoji understands this and is why he can be so certain with this strategy because of how ryuen personality works mixed with his relation with him

Doesn't it seem contradictory? My theory is Kei will get expelled in the next volume. Hear me out. Self expulsion makes -300 cp. If we predict that Ryuuen will let sakayanagi stay while receiving penalty, then with kei dropping out,it would make all 4 classes close. Although Ryuuen would be class A, Horikita B, Sakayanagi C and Ichinose D. 2. Theory 2 : With +10 Class points from additional students and +50 class points from traitor rule, It's clear that Ichinose's class didn't end up with nothing. I think Ayanokoji still would transfer to Ichinose's class. Kanzaki being desperate will ask to give all the private points Ichinose was storing as a class Bank. That would be just enough for his class transfer. Plot twist: I think Ichinose will abandon her class when they decide to recruit Ayanokoji. But she can't self destruct as she is a good girl. It was mentioned that by making deals with 1st and 3rd years, Ryuuen can even recruite 2 student in his class. It's possible that Ichinose will join Ryuuen's class and fight alongside him. This way,we will have Class A : Ryuuen+Katsuragi+ Ichinose Class B : Horikita+KOENJI Class C : Sakayanagi+ Hashimoto (He will side with her) Class D: Ayanokoji With this , we can have a 4 way battle in third year. Kinugasa Showed us again Ayanokoji is HIM . I mean this Guy Literally Planned every Situation Right from the Moment Current Exam was Introduced. He anticipated everything and Took the action for it. It's crazy.
Reading volume 12, made me wanna time travel to January 2025 to read the next one; this one ended up with a cliffhanger. Will Arisu really be expelled? What would happen to Honami? Will Kiyotaka finally leave his current class, and if so, which class will he be transferring to? Will Koenji finally take on a bigger role? What's gonna happen to Kei? As of now, Kiyotaka achieved one of his goals: an even result..all of the class leaders experienced loss. Although it may not be even when we consider the technicalities, since Class B still won, still it's a good sign of his goal's manifestation. If you think COTE isn't going the way it should be, just remember that this is about Ayanokoji Kiyotaka and how he'd make his ways work in the real world. As of now, he is still the human robot who doesn't use emotions on dealing with anything, so we could still expect him to be quite ruthless in the coming volumes. Anyone who hinders his plans, would be thrown away.
Things aren't equal at all for the classes, Horikita won without using her own strenght, that's the opposite of letting her grow, also Ichinose and Sakayanagi's classes are out of the competition apparently, that's quite the opposite Ayanokouji was trying to achive. Also he kinda went backwards in his development.
I'm pretty satisfied with how this volume went, hearing the spoilers and reading it felt like 2 different experiences. The "forfeit" was something I felt bitter upon hearing in spoilers, but upon reading, I kinda liked how it felt. I interpreted the message to say "To continue fighting with you will bore me". Because the one who forfeited already peaked, in the meanwhile, the other side is someone still growing, and Koji's desire seems to be to make all classes somewhat equal. Perhaps the whole equality spiel at the start of the series contributed to Koji's desire in doing this. Also, how Koji popping off in this volume is something I like. Every time he pops off, some people will always be uncomfortable with him doing so. I can't wait to see the perspective of the class and everyone else next volume. When people ask him as to the fate of the traitor, I'm curious... will he say: "Sorry, I wasn't able to save her" OR "I got rid of someone unnecessary". I'm gonna assume since he stopped hiding who he is, it's gonna be the latter. He's willing to let everyone hate him or fear him now, now that he's popped off publicly. I'm sure Hirata will feel betrayed, Sudou will feel uncomfortable... I'm assuming Matsushita was told what the traitor's fate will be as Koji told her to pay attention as he will give his all for this exam. Koji moves classes, everyone gets enraged, Kei will feel betrayed and they break up. Kei will probably get back on her foot after a while. Or maybe not, maybe she'd be scared shitless from then on. I have to say, I feel like Class Ichinose was a red herring in regards to which class will Koji transfer to. After this exam, I went from being sure that Koji will transfer to Class Ichinose to Class Arisu. I think that was kind of well done. Kei's "Replacement" would be the combination of the Hashimoto and Yamamura.
I think the message kiyo conveyed was how good of a project ryuen can become. Arisu experienced first hand how fun and how high ryuen's potential can be from the exam they just had. That was the message that only arisu would understand. That is what i think
Arisu realized at that point that no matter what she does kiyo does not want to fight him anymore because ryuen is more interesting, and arisu felt that too when she was going up against ryuen in the exam

Is it just me, or you also kind of think that the students aboard that bus on the first day of school, will be the ones to take on important roles on the final part? Aside from Kiyotaka and Suzune, who are obviously in it, Koenji has also showed strength and has started to be involved(though not in a normal way) in their school stuffs. Kikyo, whom we all thought would be expelled, has been kept, and has leveled up into an asset...and now, even as Suzune's "not-so-demure" friend.
Pretty sad man I actually liked arisu I mean yeah she didn’t have character development but how could she. She’s disabled and is already smart enough to outsmart majority of the school with a exception of a few like ayanokoji maybe manabu and ichika and such

Don't ignore all the planning that went into this, he used the traitor system to get rid of both hashimoto and maezono!!!!, then broke ichinose's psychological state by abusing the fact that he used her to get rid of maezono and revealed that he was the one that spread the rumors about her. He then predicted ryuen's loss and used him to not only get rid of hashimoto, but simultaneously guilt trip sakayanagi into giving the win to ryuen
I took it more as Ayanokoji realized there were 2 important aspects for this exam. 1. how well you could read and understand the subtleties of the participants as the representative 2. The other is how well you could disrupt the other representative. What Ayanokoji did was basically a more extreme version of what Sakyanagi did to Katsuragi. He realized that Ichinose was unrivaled in a competition like this and instead opted to break the weakest link in her chain which was her overly trusting nature. Something that has been repeatedly stated as a point of weakness by pretty much every other class leader. This could potentially be a huge point of growth for her

This might be a stupid idea but to me it seems like Ayanokoji is gonna join Ryuens class. In 499 Hashimoto said that if Ryuens wins they would transfer Ayanokoji and Hashimoto to Ryuens class. And even though it was a forfeit Ryuen still won so could the reason be because he wants to join that class
I think the new points are wrong. Horikita's class starts with 983 points and gain 250 points + 50 points, but since maezono got expelled this means that the class gets a -300, so they stay at 983 points. Ichinose's class gets +50 points, not 60 so starting from 654 points they get to 704(not 714) Ryuen's class gets 200 points, so starting from 730 points they get to 930 points(and not 1090, unless i'm missing some details) Sakayanagi's class, from 1098 gets to 798. This means that the gap between class A and D isn't 500+ points(714- 1283), but slightly less than 300. And this also means that the situation Is just like Ayanokouji wanted it to be, with every class still being capable of beconong class A at the start of the next year.
The minus 300-point rule is only in-effect when someone voluntarily drops out of the class, not with expelling someone during a special exam, like how Sakura got expelled during the Unanimous Vote Exam.

As of now, Kiyotaka achieved one of his goals: an even result..all of the class leaders experienced loss. Although it may not be even when we consider the technicalities, since Class B still won, still it's a good sign of his goal's manifestation.
If you think COTE isn't going the way it should be, just remember that this is about Ayanokoji Kiyotaka and how he'd make his ways work in the real world. As of now, he is still the human robot who doesn't use emotions on dealing with anything, so we could still expect him to be quite ruthless in the coming volumes. Things aren't equal at all for the classes, Horikita won without using her own strenght, that's the opposite of letting her grow, also Ichinose and Sakayanagi's classes are out of the competition apparently, that's quite the opposite Ayanokouji was trying to achive. Also he kinda went backwards in his development.

I'm pretty satisfied with how this volume went, hearing the spoilers and reading it felt like 2 different experiences. The "forfeit" was something I felt bitter upon hearing in spoilers, but upon reading, I kinda liked how it felt. I interpreted the message to say "To continue fighting with you will bore me". Because the one who forfeited already peaked, in the meanwhile, the other side is someone still growing, and Koji's desire seems to be to make all classes somewhat equal. Perhaps the whole equality spiel at the start of the series contributed to Koji's desire in doing this.
Also, how Koji popping off in this volume is something I like. Every time he pops off, some people will always be uncomfortable with him doing so. I can't wait to see the perspective of the class and everyone else next volume.
When people ask him as to the fate of the traitor, I'm curious... will he say:
"Sorry, I wasn't able to save her" OR "I got rid of someone unnecessary". I'm gonna assume since he stopped hiding who he is, it's gonna be the latter. He's willing to let everyone hate him or fear him now, now that he's popped off publicly. I'm sure Hirata will feel betrayed, Sudou will feel uncomfortable... I'm assuming Matsushita was told what the traitor's fate will be as Koji told her to pay attention as he will give his all for this exam.
Koji moves classes, everyone gets enraged, Kei will feel betrayed and they break up. Kei will probably get back on her foot after a while. Or maybe not, maybe she'd be scared shitless from then on.
I have to say, I feel like Class Ichinose was a red herring in regards to which class will Koji transfer to. After this exam, I went from being sure that Koji will transfer to Class Ichinose to Class Arisu. I think that was kind of well done. Kei's "Replacement" would be the combination of the Hashimoto and Yamamura.

I think the message kiyo conveyed was how good of a project ryuen can become. Arisu experienced first hand how fun and how high ryuen's potential can be from the exam they just had. That was the message that only arisu would understand. That is what i think

Arisu realized at that point that no matter what she does kiyo does not want to fight him anymore because ryuen is more interesting, and arisu felt that too when she was going up against ryuen in the exam
@@alexishustin9212 I understand that but still the outcome could have changed and arisu might not have understood the message and ryuen would have lost. Kiyo didn’t do something very concrete with absolute 100% surety that arisu would actually understand the message.

Aside from Kiyotaka and Suzune, who are obviously in it, Koenji has also showed strength and has started to be involved(though not in a normal way) in their school stuffs. Kikyo, whom we all thought would be expelled, has been kept, and has leveled up into an asset...and now, even as Suzune's "not-so-demure" friend.
Pretty sad man I actually liked arisu I mean yeah she didn’t have character development but how could she. She’s disabled and is already smart enough to outsmart majority of the school with a exception of a few like ayanokoji maybe manabu and ichika and such
Nagumo , koenji and Ryune is better in outsmarting as well but your right arisu is pretty smart but I think as Ryune had more potential and development so they saved him

I really didn't like how Koji won this volume. Usually he is playing 5d chess with everything being controlled by him but in this volume he won by saying F you to Ichinose and pls lose to Arisu

Don't ignore all the planning that went into this, he used the traitor system to get rid of both hashimoto and maezono!!!!, then broke ichinose's psychological state by abusing the fact that he used her to get rid of maezono and revealed that he was the one that spread the rumors about her.
He then predicted ryuen's loss and used him to not only get rid of hashimoto, but simultaneously guilt trip sakayanagi into giving the win to ryuen
I took it more as Ayanokoji realized there were 2 important aspects for this exam.
1. how well you could read and understand the subtleties of the participants as the representative
2. The other is how well you could disrupt the other representative.
What Ayanokoji did was basically a more extreme version of what Sakyanagi did to Katsuragi.
He realized that Ichinose was unrivaled in a competition like this and instead opted to break the weakest link in her chain which was her overly trusting nature. Something that has been repeatedly stated as a point of weakness by pretty much every other class leader.
This could potentially be a huge point of growth for her

This might be a stupid idea but to me it seems like Ayanokoji is gonna join Ryuens class. In 499 Hashimoto said that if Ryuens wins they would transfer Ayanokoji and Hashimoto to Ryuens class. And even though it was a forfeit Ryuen still won so could the reason be because he wants to join that class
I think the new points are wrong.
Horikita's class starts with 983 points and gain 250 points + 50 points, but since maezono got expelled this means that the class gets a -300, so they stay at 983 points.
Ichinose's class gets +50 points, not 60 so starting from 654 points they get to 704(not 714)
Ryuen's class gets 200 points, so starting from 730 points they get to 930 points(and not 1090, unless i'm missing some details)
Sakayanagi's class, from 1098 gets to 798.
This means that the gap between class A and D isn't 500+ points(714- 1283), but slightly less than 300. And this also means that the situation Is just like Ayanokouji wanted it to be, with every class still being capable of beconong class A at the start of the next year.
The minus 300-point rule is only in-effect when someone voluntarily drops out of the class, not with expelling someone during a special exam, like how Sakura got expelled during the Unanimous Vote Exam.
