I'm a part-time reseller and had my own garage sale this past weekend. Priced everything cheap, did really well. There was at least one reseller there based on what he was buying and I didn't care that he was going to make money off the stuff he bought from me. A dollar is a dollar, doesn't matter who it's coming from.
Mama: "Oh what do I know? Nothing" That literally BROKE my heart. I can't give my mother a hug to tell her I love her anymore. So please, Dave, give your Mom a hug and tell her what she knows and the wisdom she possesses is so much more important than knowing what a stupid toy does or doesn't do.....Oh, and that you love her.
I agree with you, Dave. It doesn't matter what you are doing with it after you buy it. If it's for sale, why would it matter who buys it. I really believe people who don't like resellers are just jealous they couldn't or didn't charge you more. There's alot of time and effort involved in reselling. It's a job. Unless you're a manufacturer, everybody is a reseller. I enjoy your videos.
The seller doesn't want to sell to resellers because they low ball and want everything for free to make triple what they paid for the sell rather sell it to people that actually want to use them and pay up for them. Basically he's doing what Dave does without eBay.
Resellers have to sell things for double, triple or more to pay for their fuel & all the time they spend looking, listing, package materials, packing items, etc, etc. If you've ever been a reseller you would know & understand all this. The manufacturer sells to companies that resell the new items to consumers, consumers might then resell the items (via a yard, garage, rummage or estate sale) to other buyers as pre-owned or still NIP because they never used an item. Then those resellers will buy items to resell (via eBay, Mercari, Etsy, FB Marketplace, WhatNot, Flea markets, OfferUp, etc) to people that will use, collect or resell the item. It can go on & on until someone buys the item that they will use or collect. There's nothing wrong with trying to get the best deal you can get so you can make the most profit you can make. That's how the world of commerce & capitalism works. That's what's made this country so great. It's why everyone's dream is to come here.

I thought he said, " cheap to collectors, not to resellers." It sounded like he meant his prices would be cheap to a collector, but would be considered too much to a reseller. Did I hear him wrong?
I think I would have asked for a price on an individual reel and if he said $20, I would have said “I usually pay about $40 for this model” and just set it down and leave 😂
I had a yard sale a few weeks ago and had a nasty reseller telling me my prices were to high. He told me I was an idiot for pricing what I did, because no one else could make any money reselling them. Um hello...I'm not selling so he could make money...that wasn't my problem it was his. I'm not sure why he made such a scene. He kind of ruined any bargains for people I knew were looking to resell.
Hi Dave I’m a fan from Oregon. I really enjoy your videos😊Thank you for taking us along with you to those yard sales. You found some great stuff. It’s always so fun to see your Mom…she is so cute and funny.

But is he going to get the price he wants you know Dave is going to low ball him the guy is just trying to make money like him and not trying to sell to people that want to make money off him
The reason is...many resellers add stress by coming early and many people have sentimental attachments to their items and enjoy when it goes to a loving home.
There are people who won't go to yard sales, but will buy off of ebay. Resellers are helping to get the treasures into the hands of people who really want them.
My take has always been, if I am buying to resell, I will pay full asking price, or if they ask "how much will you pay", I let them know I plan to resell it. Well, I don’t like it’s going to yard sales where nothing is priced I’ve noticed if you drive up in a nicer car or you’re carrying a nicer purse and shoes the jack the price up on you I’ve had one yard sale and I will sell to anybody and I priced all my stuff And I know it’s more valuable than what I was selling it for but as long as I got the money that I was asking for I didn’t care what they did with it afterwards if they wanted to keep it or resell it fine with me
Just saying probably he mean selling to a user at a slightly cheaper price and the buyer will be happy he got at a good price and able to use it but to a reseller he gonna have to sell at a MUCH cheaper price.🤷♂️Is like me a card collector I sell at a market reasonable price but resellers will be like lowball you,get the card turn around and sell for much higher price than you listed it. You just dont feel good about it
Number 1 the sound thing, I swear I am the only one that hears that high annoying pitch!! Ughhh despise it!! Number 2 why on Earth do people have sales to get “Rid” of things they no longer need, YET call out someone that resells??!! Unreal! Even if the price had been right, after that statement I would NOT of bought crap from them!! Rude and ridiculous!! Not selling to resellers is one of the most ignorant mentalities to have. Why care what happens after it's sold? You'd rather hold on to an item you don't care about than sell it to someone willing to do more work with it? Petty
I like the way you break in between sales to tell about what you bought instead if waiting to the end

loving the fun fact inserts!
That was pretty rude of him to say that
Just saying probably he mean selling to a user at a slightly cheaper price and the buyer will be happy he got at a good price and able to use it but to a reseller he gonna have to sell at a MUCH cheaper price.🤷♂️Is like me a card collector I sell at a market reasonable price but resellers will be like lowball you,get the card turn around and sell for much higher price than you listed it. You just dont feel good about it
Heck yeah I see someone with a go pro walking into my property price goes up!
Number 3 watch out for anything CREED the BandThey are doing or are 😊coming back in 2024(yay) in concert!! They were popular in 2000. I know for a fact tickets are selling fast as they and others are set to tour!! Just FYI!
I find it easier to make a pile and bargain for a better price.
Not selling to resellers is one of the most ignorant mentalities to have. Why care what happens after it's sold? You'd rather hold on to an item you don't care about than sell it to someone willing to do more work with it? Petty
I hear the noise!!! Eeeeeekkkk it’s horrible
