- Hey guys, apologies for the delay in releasing this. I just had a baby girl so naturally I didn't have a lot of time to upload videos.
Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver is bloody awful and up there as one of the worst films of the year to date. There are a few redeeming factors but honestly, this is an easy skip. If you already watched Part 1 and you're curious about how it all ends then fair enough but I can tell you now, it isn't worth it.

The abuse of slow motion is insufferable, the characters have zero depth and the emotional moments are laughable. Still, better than Rise of Skywalker.
Honestly I couldn’t believe I was watching slow motion farming, I actually laughed when watching it 🙈
I agree with everything you’ve said except I’m slightly more biased towards the Rise of Skywalker, purely because of Adam Driver
Agree. I had orginally thought the idea behind the story was pretty good.....Ugh, had to see if any of the points you listed had gotten any better. Dry characters, over use of slo mo...Might have to file this series away as "seemed like a good idea at the time" and keep waiting for the next Fallout and Tulsa Kings.
Part 1 I switched off after 10 mins. So why would the sequel be any better?

luckily i have watched a few reviews of rebel moon so have known to avoid thit --it show... you guys have saved me from even trying...
Normally I would advise someone to watch/play something themselves to make their own judgement but honestly, Rebel Moon Part 1 and 2 are both rubbish so I’m glad to have helped save you some time.
I would probably just watch a highlight reel if you are vaguely interested in the IP 😄

Snyder has no idea how to tell a story without slow motion sequences. He is more of a disappointment than the Wachowskis and thats saying a lot
Now that is a hot take I haven’t heard before and I agree with you! It’s like he uses slow motion as a way to divert attention from his weaknesses
I didn’t mind part 1 but part 2 went downhill fast. Action could be cool but I didn’t care about anything that was happening. With 4hrs of screen time Snyder still failed to get me attached to these characters. I was just bored. I’m done with this franchise now. Great review!
