Big breathe into the belly, imagining that I'm pushing out my belly in all directions (front, back, sides), and then I "lock it down" by trying to compress my midsection down around that air. Then I can take "sips" of air through the nose or mouth as needed. Let me know if that helps and makes sense or is totally confusing.
What I've learned over the years is that the human body does a great job of building resiliency. If you practice pauses, you'll build the capacity to pause in the hole. I typically squat fairly deep, on most of my warm ups I pause in the hole, so my knees should be prepared. Not saying it's a good decision for everyone, but I've worked up to this, so to speak.
That’s insane! Was not expecting you to go for the long pause 💪🏼 🎉
Yeah honestly I wasn't sure my plans going into the set either lol
Nice lift brother 💪
Thanks dude. Messing around, having some fun right now

Thank ya
Nice lift!
Thank you!
Question. When doing high weight like this, what is your breathing technique like?

A 200+ kg squat is good lifting not sure about the hold.to be honest as that's when your knee is at its weakest more vulnerable position.
