Outstanding! When Stacked Up came out, it blew my mind. I have to say that you were one of my biggest influences when i started drumming. I can still remember how chuffed i was when I learned the intro to States Of Mind, and I'm still using licks i stole off you 30 years ago (although it surely cant be that long!)
Johnny, is that by chance the 12" Pearl soprano snare that you used to play with Moke? It was because of you that I bought one not long after I saw you guys in Chicago and I still play it today. :)
Hi there, it’s a Tama 13x7 Kapur. It’s my main snare these days but I still use the Pearl Soprano for recording. I used it on quite a few songs on the next Senser album, it really cuts through 🤘😎. Cheers mate, hope all is well
