Our Himachali Shivratri Celebration in Bangalore |

Hi Friends!!
This week, on March 8th, we celebrated the famous North Indian festival of Maha Shivaratri in Bangalore. Shivaratri holds great significance in Himachal Pradesh, where we celebrate it on a grand scale every year. Since childhood, my family and I have cherished this festival, honoring Lord Shiva and relishing the delicious traditional food prepared for the occasion. Dishes like Rot, Bakre made of wheat flour, Sansay, Bada, Chuda, and Poldu (Pekkeain) are among the culinary delights we enjoy. This year, due to our relocation to Bangalore, we couldn't celebrate with our extended family. However, we decided to uphold our traditions by preparing all the traditional dishes at home.
