- I've been hearing GREAT things about the ultra-popular Mr. C's in Concord, NC just east of Charlotte. While I was in the area and hungry as could be, I stopped by to try their Super C burger and chicken.

Usually when someone with barely any clothes on, it's usually someone who should be dressed in a Winter jacket and snow pants, so as little skin as possible shows. Speaking of BK, I actually had a very pleasant experience there today. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was awake. Only 1 guy on duty, who had to both cook and do the register. I had a Whopper craving and my Mom wanted a couple of their plain hamburgers. I got there about 15 minutes before breakfast was due to end, But he took my order and made it up right away. Smiled, very friendly and courteous. Wished me a good day, gave me a sheet of coupons to come back. I'm still in shock. Went to take the survey so I could give him the praise he deserves.

I was in the hospital in Concord (1hr away from my house) while i was pregnant with my son due to preeclampsia and hunnnnnnyyyyy when i tell you i use to order Mr. C's EVERY DARN DAY! from door dash.
Just moved behind that Mr C location your at in Concord, heard how great their chicken was. Went there and the chicken is dry, Bojangles is better.
That chicken breast looks great. And a great price
I am stuck in the ‘burg until I get a new car that can go further than the city limits. Living vicariously through you right now. Ugh I miss the days when I would zip to Charlotte or Greenville for something fun. UGH!

Papieats, I can't overstate it.... fuck the insane prices for fast food items. Especially MCD's hashbrowns at over $3.50.
Where are you that hashbrowns are $3.50? lol they’re $1.89 at my McDonald’s.
Granted I don’t understand how they get away with charging more than a buck so I’m still with you on that. It’s telling that mom and pop shops with plenty of business can thrive with affordable pricing like this one and the corporate chains just keep hiking their prices up.
@@PapiEats Up here in Greensboro... last time I ordered one with a free reward I saw the $3.50 price but that was around a year ago.. just checked the app and now they're $1.99 (MLK blvd in Greensboro if curious)

I’m in and from Raleigh and I’ve always sad that the Charlotte areas have the best hole in a mom and pop restaurants in the state.
Maybe they don't call numbers for carpetbaggers. They heard the Rochester in your voice when you ordered. Sounds like quite the place.

Also, North Carolinians have horrible taste in burgers. CookOut being so popular highlights that opinion. And I can't stand people who hate chains... as if the people working there or who own the franchise aren't local people, using local ingredients, to make local profits and wages. Freddy's makes incredible burgers. Easily the best smashburger I've tried anywhere in NC or the USA.
