NYY should have signed Pete Alonso, historic slugger batting back to back with Judge? Would have electrified MLB. Mets got Soto who will be on Medicare at the end of his contract. Cadhman signed 2 guys, Fried/Goldschmidt, 6 years too late. NYY will not win WS until they cut ties with Cashman.
I don't like the idea of getting him. His numbers are way down with no speed and a liability on base. Keep our young guys and let one of them get the job.
