- Man only on the second video and it's already so intense and sad! It's really crazy how much these girls went through and especially at such a young age. Episode 3 only looks like it's going to get even more intense lol.

At 31:24 it gives you a glimpse of why Jurin is such a great leader. On the first video we saw Jurin getting on Chisa telling her not to think so much. In here we see her being compassionate to the younger girls that got eliminated. Next episode you will see even more why Jurin is fit to be a leader but she didn't want that title.
We didn't realize how close Jurin and Chisa were before these videos! Really cool to see. She's an amazing leader!
@The Lapids actually they weren't that close lol. It's Jurin, Harvey and Airi. Kaimya Airi and not Ito Airi.
He needed to be tough with them but dont misunderstand he cares deeply for the girls. The first scene you can hear his voice cracking. In competitive sports growing up i went through similar trainings and mind games. The Kamiya issue was very important for him to take care of. Any pictures that might seem or can be use against you will be use against you by the haters and antis. I mean if these girls werent mentally tough they would not make it in the industry. They knew the road to stardom wouldnt be easy being Japanese in Korea. I mean just look at all the crap they have given them and are still giving them now.

Tbh Simon should be harsh, they need to understand what to do and what not to do, this ain’t any ordinary person or group. This is tough. As trainees to idols. He needs to be tough on them cuz life is more harsher and they need to understand that. Don’t be cocky and be serious and don’t do anything that you will regret. At a young age like this they need to understand(that’s my take)

Simon's voice breaking up on the first part of this vid is a giveaway that he loves the girls so much - even the ones that didn't made the cut.
He needed to put these girls to the grinder in order to made them tougher in the world they want to embark. As we all know the KPOP Entertainment world is one of the most brutal industry to be in - especially them being non-koreans / all japanese (the animosity they garnered before debuting is at all time high, as most knetz sees them as enemies and do not deserve a shot or any promo in Korea - like we are still in WW2)
These girls needed the mental fortitude, a strong heart to survive - and they won't be able to make it if not for Simon's guidance & training regimen.
Also we have to see it in his perspective, him being an idol before. He knows how tough you need to be in order to survive, he needs to put aside his emotions and lead these girls to their dreams. Simon's guidance and XG's innate talent has became one hell of a formula to success.
He's just showing us how it's really done and how to make the girls ready & to show them what it takes if they want to pursue their dreams of becoming an idol. And look what we have now. The bond and love they have for each other is so freaking strong. If you've seen the XG DAYS 7&8 and some XTRA XG and also the stuff in the ALPHAZ APP you will see how much he loves these girls.

Simon definitely has got them prepared! It's really cool seeing all this behind the scenes stuff so raw and unfiltered. Can't wait for them to start doing more US promotions, people will love them out here!!
@@thelapids I hope so too. HITC is such a big break for them in the US. And I know with the music and the direction they are going, it will open more doors for them. They deserve the recognition and all the hype because they're so freaking good. And the bond that they have is not forced or fabricated. They literally love one another.
About 15,000 girls sent their videos and auditon, 21 were seleced, 15 made the training camp and 8 made the group. No it was not Hikaru but Kamiya Airi who was #8. You will see she was great but went solo. I think she is a little bit of a rebel. Ive seen her solo content and she has a song named CBD 🤦♂️. In the video she is smoking, she is a great great dancer. The girl you pointed out is her. She was really good friends with Jurin and Harvey. The 3 of them use to modeled together and she was also an avex artist academy student.
Insane how many auditions they went through. We'll have to look into Kamiya Airi, it seems like they were really close with her in these videos

Did you see XG's KCON performance from last weekend? It was absolute 🔥🔥🔥 they looked STUNNING in their gold L.Vuitton outfits. They owned that stage. They even changed up the Shooting Star choreography a bit. Of course XG was given the least stage time......of course. Even though they have received the most views and positive reception globally. This is exact reason why Simon had to build a lot of fortitude into our girls. One really disappointing thing is i saw HITC has decided to not live stream HITC NY this weekend. Which is a HUGE letdown. I would be more than happy to pay to see XG in their grand U.S. debut on Sunday. I cant beleive HITC decided not to. Im really hoping the change their minds.
Haven't seen the KCON performance yet, we'll check it out. Wow, I can't believe they're not going to stream it!! We went to HITC in LA last year, happy that they're able to perform at it!
I think it was meant to be a 2/3 year project the turned into 5 years due to COVID. You can really see the the results of the extensive training. They are very polished

Hey Lapids! If you want to check out XGs iconic performance at HITC NY this past Sunday there is a perfect 2-part 4K video someone posted of the entire performance with really good audio and it’s right in front of the stage. Just search for “Hiramine“ and you will find it. XG absolutely 🔥🔥🔥 SLAYED. Even Billboard and NME had stories on how XG just took over HITC NY. 15,000+ went insane for XG it was so damn loud it was crazy. Hearing a crowd of 15k singing along to Left Right and Shooting Star was just iconic. Even the 88rising CEO and staff came out and watched XG and the entire performance.
We just watched it!! Sooo good!! Loved when the crowd shouted XG!!! 🥹
@@thelapids nice!! would have loved to have seen you guys reaction lol. Our girls just absolutely SLAYED...hearing 15K+ sing Left Right and Shooting Star in unison gave me chills. And that Tippy Toes to Mascara transition was FIRE. The girls actually cried in back right afterwards from being so overwhelmed from all the love. The U.S. really showed up! They dont get that in Korea (at all rly sadly) or even Japan (its starting to rly pick up there after the iconic KCON Japan performance they had) HITC LA up next!! 🐺

Maya and Cocona demonstrate to me that they’re very determined and persistent to display their Rock Star 🌟 Talent from the beginning because they’re so young. Maya went to International School so maybe her personality conformed to the culture …I know Japanese culture is more laid back. She reminds me of CL🍒 of 2ne1. Thanks for sharing your review LAPIDS.
