For me, one of the most horrifying parts of the last video is about the soul deletion process. Computers don't actually delete things. They just mark bits of memory as free, so then they can be overwritten with new data. What this means, in theory, is that parts of the "deleted" soul could continue sitting in the computer indefinitely until they're replaced with new data. A fragmented soul, with parts of it already overwritten with gibberish and the rest just left to suffer. I can only imagine what kind of agony a soul ripped apart and corrupted like that would feel. To hear the screams of people who went through that sounds like a fate worse than death.
I was thinking along the lines of... 'The Magnus Archive,' where someone uploaded their consciousness to their computer and was going insane because 'The lines are so sharp. We're not supposed to think in ones and zeroes." Etc. Overall, quite interesting.
She feared death, so she made herself immortal.... one of the best horror games I've seen, death is inevitable, she broke the fabric of reality and reaped the punishments.
You reap what you sow in the grand scheme of things, life is just a box of chocolates, you take the wrong thing and things turn bad, like eating mint chocolate
The last game. Wow. That was...wow, I can't imagine anything as horrifying. Everyone gave up on trying to find her. Trying to save her. She couldn't be saved...that was horrible. Amazing. I loved it.
is it truly an emortalmarcus playthrough without a small random unwarranted rant like the Minecraft tall grass one in the first tape? (love this format btw I really dig it)
It hit so hard when she said "I'm afraid of forever". Like, girl, me too. I never want to be immortal, I'm sure it'll be cool for a short time, seeing the world develop, going to different places, meeting new people, but you'll live to see the world die, you'll live to see the flame of the sun be snuffed out forever. You'll live to see and experience true loneliness, true coldness, true suffering, and you can't escape. It's horrifying to me, I'm getting anxious just thinking about it.
Well, you'd see a lot of death, but you'd see everything that comes from it too. If you are immortal, then life will always come back just because you keep things moving. Still, I can't imagine what it would be like to live not knowing if it'll ever end, or knowing it won't. Sounds as exciting as it would be horrifying.
@@Ollybollyk Yeah true immortality is fun, like living longer than any amount of infinity to the point that something exists from sheer nonexistence even if nothing was supposed to, you meet gods and demons, and shit, and no matter what you know that in the end, regardless of titles, prestige or power, you will be the one who remains, an absolute being of sorts, meaning the adventure for you never stops, you just take involuntary breaks.

Dude the last one got me teary eyed that’s so deep and sad Like idk I struggle with dark thoughts and like it feels so real. A heated moment a bad choice and a bunch of regret. Like the things that keep me here are imagining not holding my wife every morning or never seeing my brother again… to be almost partially forgotten about, like a ghost that can’t see anybody either just alone and waiting… Damn man. That’s dark
*Marcus:* _"I'm not too good at driving in these games..."._ *30 seconds later:* _proceeds to drift_ *Another 30 seconds later:* _crashes several times_ 🤦♀️😂
The last game reminds me of a dark somnium story called the parts of the dark web we aren’t supposed to see, I definitely recommend listening to it because the idea is very similar and the last game seems like a what will happen if somebody random finds the aftermath, also my favorite was drive me to hell Edit: the story is actually called the hidden web page I got another story similar to it confused oops
The last game hit hard man, I remember as a kid j wished I could be inside my computer forever to escape my problems in life and be with my online friends because my greatest fear, to this day, is being alone. I feel for Liz man being alone can ruin a person's mind and soul
Which is why you have to do everything in your power to get irl friends hell even just family and enjoy what you have because the moment you lose it you will end up regretting everything you didn’t do and very few souls die without any regrets
This crow game reminds me of when I went to Disney in LA for school. Near the end of the day when it was getting dark outside we got to the plaza. Inside the plaza there was I don’t even know how many crows but they were literally everywhere. I got spooked from all of them and wanted to go inside one of the buildings to get away from them all so we did. When we left that building all the crows had positioned themselves around the building we were in and took off when we exited the building. I started recording them because a murder of crows isn’t too common and it’s terrifying. After that I have had a few more occurrences in different places like this which I can’t help but be creeped out by.
Sounds like you've got friends! Crows are really darlings when you get to know them, I promise! Try giving them some food or trinkets if you see them again, you'll make allies for life. :)
This is my new favorite series Marcus has make❤❤ I was so funny when Marcus got excited when he saw a gun it the first game. Marcus is always able to put a smile on my face. ❤❤😊
Hey Marcus! There’s this new analogue horror going around called GÜBY, which is basically an educational video with a dark backstory, where tons of kids have been going missing after watching the show. It is fairly new, so it isn’t very developed. But as new releases come out, can you look at the series?
My theory for the second tape is that the family from the start in the cafe was the family that was taking your sole player hit and the broken car before the abandoned city was the family’s car that the player hit.
Loved the style of the video! And yeah, the last game was so sad yet captivating, and you reading the messages at the end as it unfold just bewitched me I forgot it was a game and not real, almost sounded like you read a poem

Also I respect the fact that one of the characters had the name Gregg. (Just like me fr)
Wow wow wow, INCREDIBLE GAMES today, dude the last game made me in tears, the story is so incredibly touching. I would love to see more games of the last one, I was so hooked with the story. I would definitely liked to see more of the first game cause am still a bit confused of it but it was still rlly good, maybe the farmer was a killer and its being haunted by the dead body or its trauma (idk rlly know 🥲). And the second game kinda reminded me of drive time radio for some reason? 😭 But definitely some HUGE bangers today, this series just getting better and better! 😁
in the first game, its very ridiculous they let you use a double barrel shotgun to kill crows from a long distance like its a m1 garand or rifle of some sort, i think its meant for self defense in close encounters with a intruder, it makes sense why it has terrible accuracy
best thing to watch after JUST. crying about the movie breadwinner. I def need some fear as well as sadness in my day to balance it out. :) sad movies and horror games. best duo
You want obscure? The weather report on the radio at 2:30 and 11:10 is from an actual British TV weather forecast on October 15th 1987 when weatherman Michael Fish played down a report of an approaching hurricane that someone had phoned in to the BBC. There wasn't a hurricane, but a few hours later South East England was hit by the worst storm in 300 years and 19 people were killed. What a strange little detail to put in a short horror game.
That last game was SO GOOD. What i Got from The story is that everyone Who did The ritual tried to leave and delete Themselves but failed. Now theyre spending their life in The game now forever. Correct me if im wrong
11:42 that was a clip from a real weather broadcast in the uk back in the late 80s or early 90s I can’t remember as I was really young at the time. But it was one of the hugest blunders in weather reports because the hurricane was the worst storm we ever had. My dad worked in the Royal Parks and he got called out late at night to attend a massive tree had been overturned and it had hit a car, it was a horrific scene (he was a tree surgeon) but afterwards when he came home, he had forgotten his key and was calling through the letterbox of our door, but because the storm was so loud, it really rocked the mobile home we lived in at the time, we couldn’t hear him, so he was stuck outside in it. He ended up driving back to the yard he worked and fell asleep in the on-site office 😅
This is based over an actual game of the time. It was the VR room of the late 90's and early 2000's. Surprisingly there's a few people who still play the game, one of them has been there since the game almost came out but sadly I have long forgotten it's name.
"A/S/L? Is that like a term?" The expression on my face when I realized...😅 That phrase sent me so hard in the past that I could almost hear creepy older men creeping around me again.
I really want to know more about the ending of the last game. Is she just stuck there alone now? Who went through her computer? I love sad endings but that ending HURT
