- I quilted this applique Santa Clause quilt using a structured ruler border and a mixed pebble free-motion design. I added a couple of other complementary free-motion designs. Christmas is definitely a vibe and I wish you all the best.

Excellent work! I love the borders and how your quilting enhances the piecing of the quilt top. By varying the spa between the piano keys you really up the level of that filler!

Love the border and swirl pebble feather. I had to watch a couple times and want to practice that one. I have also been trying some blunt swirls. Thanks for another great one!

I did the swirl pebble feather in last night. Had to pick and resew a few times when I got lost in the swirl, but once I gained some muscle memory, it really flowed well. Love how it turned out.@@quiltingcurvestudio
@susanbraun698 awesome! I had to pick it out a lot when I first started this design, too. I have a video where I use this design to make a tree, I got lost so many times I had to draw all the lines first!

My client Ramona made the quilt. She hired me to quilt it.
How many years has it taken you to build up your endurance and focus for such an intense project? It would have taken me a week 😅
Some quilts are faster than others. This took 12ish hours. I had a very clear idea on the finished quilt, so fewer pauses to plan. I work "full time" in my studio (6-8 hours a day)

What did you charge for custom quilting the Santa quilt? I am just trying to get a guestimate of what it would cost to get a custom quilt quilted.
Prices seem to vary depending on where you live. My price for something like this is 0.07-0.09 inch square

The backing is called fireside. Kinda like minky but a little more grown-up
