Ormoc is so beautiful, lush and green forestry! And the fees here and there, not knowing what it’s for, and which gates-ugh, would just confuse me and probably aggravate me unfortunately. There has to be a better system. They still haven’t figured it out yet 😫. It’s a work in “progress.” I hope

As someone looking to retire to a quiet, rural, locale, sans nightlife, bars, and without expat drama, is this an area to consider? All I really need is reasonable drive to a gym, a decent hospital, and a wet market. I prefer mountains to beach. Any thoughts?
