This was unquestionably a Russian shoot-down. Had it crashed in Russian territory you'd never have gotten the real story or seen the crash evidence. The holes are missile shrapnel. Engines were still fully functional, but ability to control tail surfaces (rudder and elevator) had been lost. Control was maintained only by engine thrust and wing ailerons.

It s loud and cleared that it s a russian anti missile system who knocks down this airplane coz they are thinking that this s a ukrainian drone.they the russians had mistakenly shot down the plane. Look up proximity fuse and there's your answer. A SAM doesn't directly hit its target.

A SAM doesn't hit a target directly. It explodes near the target using a proximity fuse. Hence, the shot gun like pepper spray holes all over the place.
