I think a little bit slower. 2008 hittes 130 I think, 2015 or something similar 135/36 and this 141. But it's not sure an accurate, 1 or 2 km/h are different from bike to bike
Bro, I have a 180cc, and this humble 125 is faster than that, my Motorcycle tops at 127 KM/h, sure mine is just a Naked Sport and this one is a full on super sport, but damn, the power of that small engine in combination to Yamaha's R line aerodynamics do wonders, I really wish the R125 was sold in my country, we have acces to the R15, which is 155cc but having the smaller option would be nice.

you have to do the valve adjustment at Yamaha during the 1000 km / 6000 service and the engine will release. Many don't. it is mandatory in the maintenance book.

Bonjour. Moi j'ai une MT full options, Akrapovic de 2019.(ancien moteur). Je n'ai absolument rien touché. J'ai exactement la même accélération. Juste qu'elle rupte à 138.(131gps). Alors la ligne donne un peu plus de couple sur la 6 ème. Ensuite et c'est là le plus important, il faut faire l'entretien chez Yamaha et demander le réglage des soupapes à 1000km / 6000km... Et ça change tout. Cela permet de libérer le moteur. Beaucoup ne vont pas chez Yamaha et les garagistes ne le font pas. Le forfait des milles km comprends : vidange, filtres, liquide refroidissement, bougies, chaine, RÉGLAGE DES SOUPAPES, test batterie, et une 20 ène de vérifications (pneumatiques, cables, faisceau...) Grace au réglage des soupapes votre moteur va se libérer et l'on sent un réel changement. Tous les concessionnaires Yamaha font ce forfait pour 200 €. Bien à vous.
i bought my r125 2020 a few days ago but they told me i cant go past 6k RPM cuz its new so i dont know its power yet, but on my old 2012 CBR125 it did 155 on a downhil ofcourse and the R125 is more powerful than the CBR but i cant wait until i see the full power of it!
I have a MT full options with akrapovic of 2019.(without vva) I have exactly the same performance. 138 = 131 gps. But 7'5 second it's not posible. 10/11 ok. Have a nice day

Of curse most 125cc bikes are slower. But my CBR 125R MY 2006 also make 140 km/h but GPS, tachometer its about 146km/h

It's speedometer error, real speed of R15 is between 140kmph to 145kmph. Real top speed of R125 is 131kmph.
I've got the 2020 and at 146 km/h the limiter sets in but a friend of mine got even to 150 with his bike

Thats no goning in 7.25 sec. Normal go in 10-20 sec 0-100 but 2 stroke in 6-12 seconds. The 7.25 sec was the Video in 2x faster.
