Ugh I’m soo close…. When I add hyper as a source and my green screen with my model pops up it freezes and disconnects from my phone. Then the choice to choose my iPhone as an options in obs for windows 11 disappears and won’t reconnect. Ughhh help plz
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Double check that your iPhone is on the latest IOS, the hyper online app is on the latest update and your obs is on your Mac is on the latest update. Turn your phone on and off and see if you can connect it to your Mac without obs just to double check the connection is ok. I have had the hyper online app break on me before so it’s worth uninstalling it and reinstalling it on your phone. If you have any more problems with hyper online please report it to them in their discord. If none of this works make sure there is no dust in your Mac ports and make sure your Mac has granted access to obs in Mac settings. If you are still having problems feel free to come back and update me and I’ll see what I can do. This tutorial is a bit outdated now so I’ve been meaning to try remake it. Hope that helps

My voice has not been altered or changed but may sound a little robotic because I have dyslexia and this video was scripted and very hard for me to read but it’s something I am working on improving with each video and working very hard to improve my fluency reading. This video is just for 3D vtuber models on mac and does not include the use of AI or voice changing sorry. Vtuber models are usually to be used with your own voice and expressions with a camera and mic unless you use them with AI, which I don’t know anything about as I don’t use AI. You might need to search voice changer or AI apps for mac. A lot of vtubers tend to be voice actors or train their voices to sound a certain way. Kizuna AI is one of the first vtubers but her voice has been changed a few times because she has different voice actors I believe but they all sounded somewhat similar. It might be worth looking into vtubers use voice changers such as zentreya or the vtuber Neruo Sama as she is completely AI I believe. I hope you are able to find a video that helps you.

Hi this works with any Mac capable of downloading either obs studio or steamlabs obs. This works on my sister’s mini Mac intel i7 so I would assume it works just fine on your mac 2019. Both intel and Mac’s Apple chip both should work. Try downloading obs studio or obs streamlabs to double check. And works with any iPhone that has ARKit face tracking so the iPhones X and up. A good way to test is if you can use your Face ID to unlock your phone. There is a full list of iPhones with face tracking here: support.apple.com/en-gb/102854 Sadly looks like the SE is not on this list. However this now also works with iPads with hyper online too, if you have one see if it’s on the list!

And would you mind sharing which app you are having the issues with? Such as hyper online etc just so I can test those apps work myself or talk to the devs if there is a problem with the apps. Make sure the phone has been selected as a trusted device with your mac. When you plug it in it should come up with a little notification asking if you trust the device, you want to click trust. It might also be worth just dusting off your ports on your mac to make sure there is no dust in them or trying to update OBS. Tracking also only works on iPhones from the iPhone X to the latest. If none of this helps please let me know. I’ll see if I can do a bit of research for you. 😌
I have an iPhone 11 & I connected it to my mac with a cord, I trusted it so when I did the iphone option showed up in streamlabs but I click it & it’s just a black screen. I don’t think it’s lacking permissions that I usually have to do in accessibility & I tried every size so I’m not sure what the issue is

Testing it out, I also have an iPhone 11 so i tested it also on that device as well to make sure it wasn’t the phone model itself. Updating to the lastest iOS on the iPhone might also help. I opened streamlabs, for me it tried to download to the newest version but kept crashing and failing. I had to uninstall streamlabs and re-download it completely. (This might be handy to try if you haven’t already, delete it from your apps and then go to the site and reinstall it. For me it kept my scenes and nothing was lost) I then followed the tutorial in the video I made. I opened up hyper online and went to the star in the middle at the bottom and went to obs. Sadly had massive issues with hyper crashing on iPhone 11 but not iPhone 13 mini. I shall report this to them. It did end up working on my iPhone 13 mini but only once I had opened hyper first and was using the obs function in the app however it did not want to work with my iPhone 11. It only registered the camera of the iPhone 11, not the phone screen itself as it should. In the end I was able to select the iPhone 11 screen by restarting my iPhone 11 and moving between random apps while plugged into streamlabs with the source as a video capture device. It didn’t seem to like staying in one app for some reason. It might be worth trying to move between apps in your phone once it’s connected as it somehow was a black screen for me when I left my iPhone 11 on one app and didn’t touch it. I am guessing streamlabs must have gone through a big update lately which has probably caused these glitches. I hope that might help out. Edit: fixed the hyper online app bug on my iPhone 11 by uninstalling and reinstalling the app and making sure it was on the latest update. It should work without hyper online needed. Hi! I am not sure sorry as my Mac is M1 2020. I can test it on my sisters Mac as hers is around 2013-2014 and get back to you if you would like! The Mac part is just either having OBS Studio or OBS Streamlabs though. I am not sure how up to date they will go on older Mac’s so I’ll have to test it out myself. (The models itself run through the iPhone so you can run them through anything such as windows, Linux or Mac using this method with a capture card). I’ll try make an updated video as there is a lot more I want to say about this now after learning more ☺️ Thank you for leaving a comment and hopefully I can get back to you on it. I’d suggest trying to download OBS Studio or OBS streamlabs first if you can. If you can’t download them I’d suggest looking to see if another computer can. I will also do a bit of research as I think hyper has a key that can stream directly to twitch now without the computer part.
Also if you are planning on using the vtuber models for non streaming content such as making videos you can now do that through hyper online app on iPhone and iPad and won’t need a Mac to make videos unless you are wanting to upload your own custom models and not use their model creation system. Does this work if I have an IPhone SE and a 2019 Mac?
