    Firstly, Ruffus - congrats on losing so much in the past few weeks, looking well after the surgery too!
    Secondly - oh Lisa! I know where you're coming from with the Fibro and the AdDdADHD, dizzy spells in the supermarket, i've been asked if i'm drunk when feeling dizzy AND even asked i'm on drugs when the ADHD is having a day of it.
    Anyway:
    I experienced terrible bloating over about 3 years and only got it under control this year with changing my diet & eating routines. I understand it's not the same for everyone, but I found a few things that helped me were:
    - Cutting down on Coffee (2 a day, and a cuppa tea)☠
    - Quit drinking carbonated drinks completely, nothing but pure water here lol (such a bore).
    - Skipping breakfast and having a small brunch meal (usually eggs + toast, although I understand with lactose issues there would be other options).
    - Eating little and often the rest of the day (you're on the mushy peas and i'm all about the petit pois over here!), but small savoury snacks to keep you going.
    - Dinner, much like Ruffus said, I don't believe in the 'eating late will make you put on weight', such baloney! I have dinner about an hour before heading to bed, eat a good hearty meal, then I think my body is exhausted using so much energy to digest it I'm more than happy to go to bed. (Plus, no having to move about all bloated during the day from big meals). Digest whilst sleeping.
    Probably all sounds like madness to some people, but after years of bloating and digestive issues, this is now what it takes to feel/function a bit more 'normal'.
    Fibro gets it's claws in everywhere though, and experimenting with what might work lifestyle & diet wise is a right pain in the ar$e!
    Sorry for the waffle of a comment, but I had a hell of a time with digestive issues for half a decade and know how frustrating it is - especially with the fibro and not being able to exercise, it's hard to keep the weight steady, never mind lose it!

    Maybe watch your portion size, even though the free food is free still watch the amount, everything in moderation . I've to be carefull with carbs or I don't lose x

    I find if I eat pasta the day before weigh in, I put on so maybe avoid pasta and rice the day before. Maybe your body can't process certain carbohydrates, the doctor will probably request you go on a low FODMAP diet 🙄 which is basically no fun but obviously with you d2, it may be difficult. As for pudding, in the new air fryer and friends book there's a slow cooker chocolate pudding 🤤
