Which is the portion of the camino you took?
I'm planning to take my 6 year old daughter, I like the stroller you used, did you have a difficult time with terrain?

We walked from just north of Tui up the Portuguese Camino. There were a couple difficult spots in the camino for the stroller. Just after Arcade it was very difficult, but there should be a walk around on the road that you could take. ¡Buen Camino!

Why did you choose the Portugese camino? Is it easier with stroller? I am planning to do the camino with 9 and 3-year old kids, and I heard the igles camino is the best/easiest for the stroller.

How many kilometers are you walking per day with the children? I have a 3 year old an done younger child that I’d like to take with me. Is this doable if on the Frances?

We were doing 13-15 miles a day. Our 2 year old did very little outside the stroller, but he stayed happy. It just depends on what they are comfortable with walking in a normal day. If you have a stroller and don’t mind pushing, it is doable.
There are some sections that are tricky, but there is always a path because bikers and wheelchairs have done it.

@@sethgrotzke this is encouraging. Did you do the whole Camino in 6 weeks? Curious if you were doing 8 hr a day walks or shorter

We did the Frances from Ponferrada to Santiago with our daughter, but we split it up into chunks. This last one with our three kids we did the Portugese Camino, but only did 115 km. Our kids could have done longer, but we didn’t have the time. Our walking was generally between 7 am and 2 pm. A couple days we got up earlier.

@@sethgrotzke this kind of schedule is that I had in mind. We’ve taken our daughter on a one month road trip twice and the time away from home is what takes a toll on her. My biggest concern is her getting fussy tot he point of constant meltdowns 😀

I want to take my 4 kids, did you stay in Airbnb? What are the resources you’ve used for stay? I’d like to do the Portugal route as well (100 km)
      Kids ages are 16, 9, 7 and 2
