Hello, in this video, we will talk about every aspects of baby #diapermachine #investments. First of all, I would like to introduce myself: my name is Coskun Ermehan, I am Hanwei's regional sales responsible for the Middle East and Africa. We have an office in Istanbul. Within this office, we provide pre- and post-sales support to the countries we are responsible for. First of all, we're going to examine the baby diaper. We'll talk about diaper types, diaper contents and sizes. Then, we will talk about the critical performance criteria of the diaper. Which raw materials are used in diaper production? We're going to talk about the costs of producing single diapers. Next, I will show you a sample factory layout. Then, we will show you what other cost items should be considered in baby diaper production. And finally, we will discuss about the important things about selecting a baby diaper line manufacturer. We'll briefly go on these topics and finish our presentation. Now, I'd like to tell you about diaper types. I mean open diapers. Open type nappies are generally divided into two. One of these types is T-shaped diapers and the other is I-shaped diapers. In this image you can see photos of T-shaped and I-shaped diapers. The most obvious features of type I diapersare the application of trims (cutting process) to the right and left. I-shaped diapers are mostly preferred in the Far East and Africa, while T-shaped diapers are more commonly preferred in Europe Middle East. The number of layers of diapers varies according to the designs of brands. However, in order to understand the structure of the diaper, I would like to examine these layers on a T-shaped diaper that we produce for testing purposes in our machines: You see the technical drawing and design of the diaper that we are going to examine on the screen right now. On the right side you can see the layers in detail. Now I will explain these structures in order. But I don't want you to be intimidated here. Because after I tell you the names of these layers, I'm going to show you these structures alive on a real diaper, respectively. First of all,let's show you the layers of this diaper starting at number 13 on the diagram. number 13 is the back-sheet,which is the non woven that we see most outside the production of diapers. The structure shown with number 12 on it is what we call a waterproof backsheet film. Leg elastics encoded as number 11 are added to this structure. Number 10 is back elastics, if preferred. number 8 is a combination of SAP and Cellulose, which we can call the engine of the diaper. number 7 and 9 are a paper-based raw material that wraps structure 8 around the top and bottom like a sandwich. Above these comes the topsheet, which is shown with number 5, which is also the equivalent of the backsheet. Topsheet is also a very important structure in giving the form of diapers. On the backsheet, the front and rear ears indicated by numbers 3 and 4 are affixed. On top of them, barrier and barrier tires are placed. The structure shown with number 14 is the front band on which the rear ears (side panels) stick o Raw material properties are also mentioned here. o Backsheette spunbond, polyethylene structure in backsheet film o Being hydrophobic, hydrophilic, o SAP (opening, swelling of used diapers, etc.) and cellulose (Pine tree, where it grows) structure, . The main difference of I shape diapers is the cut parts on the sides, as I mentioned inthe previous lesson. These cut parts are discarded as waste. You can see this discarded part as a scanned area in the image on the screen. Due to this waste, we are not able to use raw materials efficiently enough in this type of diapers.
