FC25 gameplay wise was worse, But as a whole package, FC26 is the worst FIFA ever. Especially when you consider the gameplay was decent the first week.

I couldnt even complete TOTY Totti and he is one of my favourite players of all time, i refused to spend the amount of money that wouldve been required to obtain the fodder from the store. it was pretty dissapointing when he expired and i missed out , it really diddnt feel like a game anymore beacause i cant even have any fun

Problem is the gameplay n the fact that I have to face absolute sewer rat bots that use same tactics, formation & players EVERY single game.
Game HEAVILY favors one player above other and the server advantage is so obvious.
I moved into a new apartment last week n had google fiber option. Went from 30 ping to 10. Very good symmetrical connection n minimum bufferbloat.
It does NOT matter what ping you are on, the game feels still heavy n I still have delays n players turn like a truck except a rare maybe 1 out of 10 games at 2am which feels smooth.
Not only is the gameplay / server issue bad enough, the fact that I have to que up and 9 out of 10 players are using same formation (4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1) with 0 room to breathe and doing the same run down the line n cutback tactics for 90minutes of the game actually disgusts me.
How does one have fun playing with same formation n players n abusing same tactics over n over n over every single game?
Rivals? same. Champs? same. even LIVE EVENTS? lol same.
I actually wanted to give it one more chance thinking good internet connection would change anything, but no.
I think I've actually had enough. It's just simply not fun to play brainless bots with heavy delays every game.

Well said dude, most people don’t point out the main culprit is the community and the incompetent freaks that run this game (EA), every game is a sweat fest u might as well enlist in the army at this point.
First thing thats not really a game issue. EVERY game has a meta and EVERY mp game has a thing that the community abuses. The community ruines the game as much as EA does. I can still hear them all say we dont want women in our team and now those same people run around with Pina because shes op.
Facts bro, I am tired of playing against 451's or 4411's with Pina, a randomly pacy winger and VDV at the back ... 9/10 people i face play exactly the same way ... It's so brain dead.. I play 4321 and I think since I started playing the game in September, I seen only about 2 or 3 people with that same formation.. everyone else is just copy n paste meta ..

Mate, I'm a casual, who was lucky enough to pack TS Eusebio and TOTY Haaland this year. The fact that none of my advance forwards make runs on a counter is so frustrating that I instantly turn the game off. I have to change their position to Poacher and Attack and even then, they make like 4/10 runs, and the biggest issue I have had with FIFA through out the years and especially new gen, is how tf an 80 pac rating player is catching up, bullying and throwing off my attacker who has 93 pace with Rapid and 93 physical with Enforcer. Like how? In what game has a DM or CB caught up to an attacker 8-10 yards ahead of them and not only catch up but overpower them off the ball and make a perfect tackle. Like HUHH? Forget 80 pace, gold Rodri has done that to me. FKING 65 PACE.
I never ever understood pace in this game. NEVER even before playstyles
Broooo, so real that’s what I’ve been saying. My 96 pace Doumbia and 97 pace Mbappé both have playstyles that are supposed to make them run faster, and they can never outpace anyone. Then an 80 pace defender runs faster than the two of them and just hits them out of the way. When I’m defending, my 97 pace Frimpong with a Shadow can’t run faster than an 85 pace attacker - they just run past him and are somehow faster, like wtf!! At this point, I think I could have TOTY Mbappé with 99 pace and would still be slower than defenders with low pace.
Dude it’s inconsistent gameplay + DDA. It’s the one biggest problem and I personally treat it as the only problem in this game. Idc about anything else. It messes up your player’s dribbling, sprint speed, jockey speed, attacking AI, defending AI, player switching, passing. Everything is fked up and it seems to affect you only and not the opponent most of the times. Sometimes affects both. I have no idea how people buy this game
I am convinced attacking Ai is purely based on DDA & scripting. Some games my players are flying and making unbelievable runs into open spaces and then there are some games they hide behind opponents CB or just stay offside. Same goes with midfield, when i am 2-0 or 3-0 up, my players stop giving me passing options and constantly make runs into traffic making me lose possession which leads to my opponent making one through pass and it’s 99% goal chance. On top of that they added Bruiser++ trash. This game is a social experiment.

Servers are always lagging, rigid formations, plastyles are horrible, trophy bugs WTF, stadium glitchs!!!!!, lights glitchs, at every patch there are new bugs...
Even small things like when I'm doing evos and as I'm claiming each stage it'll say "+0" in everything even though the stats are upgrading. Like... How are small visual glitches like this still a thing?

To me, the promos and player SBCs have been the worst they ever have been, either they are ridiculously overpriced or they don't have the must have playstyles required to just be usable in the game or both and in general, you can just make a better evo of that same card for like a third of the price on average and avoid wasting fodder on a worse card and the great evos like the Inside Edge evo gets re-released as a store pack now. Its like is if EA release these SBCs overpriced just to piss everyone off for no reason and give no one a justifiable reason to complete them. So bizarre.

The worst part is nobody mentions. We are getting older and more burnt out every year so it is kinda like the newest game is the worst ever because they keep releasing crap games while we get older and more tired of the game. problem is Ea listen to people who aren't good at playing and who are casuals who just tested the game who wants ai to do everything for them.. my opponent just control his cm or dm.. and let the ai does the defending for them.. so frustrating
When I try and do the same thing of not touching or switching to my defenders, my opponents just walk past my defenders like they are not there. I have to manual defenders but it doesnt work pressing the tackle button either misses or responds after two working days
Because midfielders dont defend. There is no point trying to defend a 95 pina with a defender and go 1v1

My friends and I stopped playing fc this year. We used to have so much fun playing ultimate team and especially playing clubs late night. It just sad the game we used to love getting worst and we all cant play together anymore
Okay lets say. A guy dident buy the game at first. He watch his favorit content creator play the game the first week and see the game is maybe better than it has ever been. He knows that EA might do something to fix corner and kick-offs, because they promoted the game with it's a community game, and everybody rage about that, and ONLY that. Okay. This year I tried one time 5 hours straight a gameplay that was fully responsive, full tiki all that good stuff. I almost cried, because I couldnt belive that the game could be that good. I went to bed. Next day it was all totally destroyed again core ingame issues. That was it for me... But those 5 hours I wont get back again, it was insane... And I belived that, that gameplay I had for 5 hours is how EA wanted the game to be, but yea...

i remember playing the alpha and the amount of space there was on the pitch and the speed of passing and the runs were amazing. i'm actually so proud of EA, because they manage to one up their biggest fumbles each year. all praises to the team; hopefully something comes out better soon

Sadly I was trying my best to stay on UT for the longest and forced myself to play it but I completely detached from the game before TOTY dropped. Just went completely cold turkey and stopped playing it. I agree, I think it’s time for EA to close the chapter with UT and move onto something new. They’ve completely ruined the game years ago but now they’ve gotten so far that it’s impossible to backtrack.
EA are great at ruining great game series. They ruined Command and Conquer and later Battlefield. At least the FIFA game series was their original IP and not one they bought.

I saw a guy mention that he could go 5-0 up, and all of the sudden the opponent goes 6-5 in less than one minute, and i cannot believe only that person is talking about HOW BAD the handicap/scripting, or however you want to call it is, to give some context, i actually think im very good at this game, specifically with team building but also playing the game as a whole, i have a great team, 5 million coins, great players, super meta, however, anytime i face your average starting team, maybe someone who bought the game recently, my team crumbles, i cannot do anything, i’ll try to create some chances only for Wilson to send it to the moon, or his keeper becomes prime Neuer, it’s mind blowing how obvious EA makes it to notice when they DO NOT want you to win, that’s the thing that frustrates me with the game, i haven’t done anything wrong, i just build a great team without wasting any money, i don’t know why that system or however scripting is made, always seems to target me when it comes to playing against bad players.

This might just be me but I’ve only been conceding rebounds and it’s way worse then last year. Yesterday I conceded a goal that had 9 rebounds in the build up. I feel like there are times where the game wants someone to score so they will and ive realised that it happens when I play people who are worse than me

I'm 26 and I enjoy the content where people make past and present teams or themed/gimmick teams rather than watching people play live events of champs with generic, same teams. Every now and then I go back on FC 25 and play a game or two with a past and present team as after Futties that account was stacked and allowed me to build any team I want
