this right here is the most important thing to me
"our material cost is probably 50% more than our competitors. Now you notice Never Summer doesn't have a high profile team, and its not because we dont want to have a high profile team, its because we cant afford it, because we spend so much money on materials that goes into our snowboards"
i own a funslinger.. thank you for making an awesome board

      Yet they use garbage bases.

Ive never owned a never summer board, but this is a company with values, a company I would happily support. If they ever need a VP of sales, I'd take a paycut to work for a company that knows what they do well and doesn't compromise its values. Great segment!

A buddy of mine who is a pro snowboarder tests dozens of boards for a magazine. He said the only board he's never been able to break is a NeverSummer. I'll only be riding NS from here on out

This guy is a total straight shooter! My first Never Summer was an '01 Premiere. I feel in love with all things Never Summer on day 1! I have never stood or rode on anything else since. This company turns out the best boards, hands down! By the way, I'm teaching my 3 year old twins how to ride and my boy linked turns on day 1! Who says skiing is easier? Lol Thanks Never Summer! Keep it up!

I can't thank you enough for your contribution to snowboarding. I too have loved the sport since the '80s always wanted to ride but didn't get a chance till 96. I've ridden Ride, Solomon, oxygen, omatic, ect and so far my favorite has been the premier f1, also have an SL and just ordered a shaper twin. my f1 was stolen at the mountain! (and I still miss her!) major bummer! hoping to see you make a camber board that can be thrown around agile and aggressive enough to bomb but butterable. i like to spin, jump and make stuff up as i go but I really like to rip. still looking for the perfect board.

    • @BoardInsiders

The F1 was fun. Great for going straight as fast as you can in any snow condition. Sorry for your loss.
Keep looking the perfect board is out there. After riding hundreds of boards over the last couple decades, I'll say that as soon as you think you have perfection, someone will make something better and you have to recalibrate.

The day I got on SL 6 years ago I knew Never Summer is my brand. I own 3 NS. The 6 year old F1 is still my favorite weapon of choice when it comes to powder or groomers bombing. Thank you for your amazing product!

I bought my first in ‘98. I’ve got a Decade.. a T-5.. and now a Chairman and Big Gun.
It took some adjusting from traditional camber, but it’s great and has only made my riding even better.
Really appreciate all the years of great riding, and buying from a really quality company.
    Thanks guys!

"Learning how to ski is easier . . ." Nope. I tried skiing first. Snowboarding makes more sense to me. I see the slopes gaining ever more snowboarders at the expense of skiing. Snowboarding is more intuitive because there are fewer variables. Also, anyone who has spent any significant time on a skateboard or surfboard can more easily learn to snowboard. Skis are for cross country. Snowboards are for alpine slopes. That is the future.

I had an easier time learning to ski than boarding- by a long shot. I quit downhill skiing after 2 days on a snowboard, though....
