  • Have you had enough of Quartzsite. Maybe you just want to try something different. We invite you to come check out Snowbird West RV Park. Stay a night, week, month, or the season. The season runs from the 1st of Sept. to the end of April.
    At Snowbird West you have a choice. Move your rig to the dump station. Hookup that nasty blue tank and haul it. Or don't move and let Petunia haul your waste to the dump station.
    Take I-10 to exit 69 go north about 2 miles. Pull into a short stay site and the park manager will stop by. Always check with the park manager before you take a seasonal site. His number is 559-359-0969.

    I stay in the Parker/Bouse area when traveling out to AZ from IL. I drive thru Salome on my way there. I exit off I-17 onto Carefree Highway and go thru Wickenburg, Aguila, Wenden and Salome before coming into Bouse. I don't bother with Quartzsite anymore, as it is dead compared to what it used to be. I travel a few miles outside of Bouse, doing my rockhounding off Plomosa Rd. Parker has an awesome Safeway to shop at, a Walmart and some pretty decent restaurants.

      @thelifeandtimesofcrazypatr699 Daily 25 - weekly 100. - monthly 200. - yearly 1000 - with the yearly as long as you pay before September 1st, you can keep the same lot. As long as your rig is licensed in Arizona. You can leave it on your lot after the park closes at the end of April.

    Awesome. Thanks. What is there to do for physical activities? Hiking, swimming, bicycling, etc. Pickleball or other sports

      @paulioshak9438 We have not learned all of the activities yet. What we can say is hiking, bicycling, ATU, abandoned mine. The clubhouse has a pool table, board games, potlucks, and mail delivery. Snowbird West is a basic campground, not a resort, which charges hundreds of dollars per month. To be able to provide some of the activities you mentioned. What we like about Snowbird West is our lot. Which we can customize to our liking. If you provide a number or email, I can send you a drone shot of our lot. The only thing your info will be used for is to receive the photo. Use the email link in our channel description to forward your info.

    I see news stories about the water system in Salome being in trouble. What's the situation these days?

    • @igowhereimtowed6839
      @igowhereimtowed6839  5 дней назад

      @usenamenotallowed Snowbird West has its own well, so we don't have that issue here. The city has two wells and has outgrown the capacity of those wells. Plus, the RV Park is about 18 miles from the city of Salome.

    I don't think they want their location to be plastered all over the internet. This is also a security problem. STOP!!!

      @desertverbenia1234 The owner has given their permission to publish videos about the park. So my question for you who are "They"?

      Why would a place of business want to hide itself? Don't all businesses want MORE demand, not less?

    • @igowhereimtowed6839
      @igowhereimtowed6839  День назад +2

      @shepdogsd I can tell you that it is not the owners. That wants to keep Snowbird West RV Park a secret.
