Shot in full manual.... Using magic lantern in 720p 60fps to get some slow motion and than upscaled to 1080p for youtube. Colour profile if i am not mistaken i used one of the default profiles but i didn't use a flat picture profile for this. 😀
Thanks mate. Yes this was shot using magic lantern on the t3i. With regards to the sound effect it was a free swoosh pack which I found on youtube. I honestly dont remember the were I exactly got it from but it was a pack which has 5-10 different swoosh sounds. If you like the vidoe please dont forget to like and subscribe I have more like these coming up.
288/5000 absolutely sensational - which lenses were used ???? This shows that talent is more important than pure technology - knowing how to tell a story in video is art! I have a T3I here in Brazil, and I produce videos for companies, I have other cameras but I really like it. congratulations !
Thanks, I am really glad you enjoyed this video!! With regards to lenses, mainly I used the 18-55mm kit lens and some minor shots were also shot with a cheap vintage lens. Please don't forget to like and subscribe. (:
@@KurtMicallef Really incredible - here's the proof that a T3i or 600 start camera is still perfect - it depends on who shoots, and post-production - if you know what you're doing, with creativity and good ideas. Full HD - is what everyone watches in the world and 4K is painful to edit, and the results, for a customer who is not expert - is the same! It's worth another creative and colorful video like this that holds the attention - than high technology misused. - Please, how did you make the transitions? with Twistter ??? or another solution? one of the best videos I've seen lately. Thank you for sharing and learning from you.
@@JeanCarloSzepilovski Thanks Again, no for transitions I used transitions which were available as presets on the internet. Mainly I searched for them in RUclips (:
@@JeanCarloSzepilovski No that's called a speed ramp it is easily done in premiere and most editing software (: Search for tutorials on the topic it's very easy
How you had done shots at 0:23 - 0:25 ? I'm curious how to make that, i have never seen this before and it's mazing! What camera settings you used for the slow-mo?
The shots you saw at that time period is basically a moving time-lapse (A series of photos played fast after each other). With regards to my camera settings for slow motion, I try to film at 60fps per second, therefore, I have room to slow down my footage to 25fps and get smooth slow motion. I would really appreciate if you like and subscribe to my channel it will help me out a lot and motivate me to create more videos like these or a tutorial on the techniques I use! Cheers & All the best!!
Hi, Sorry for the late reply. For this project I used the 18-55mm Canon Kit lens, the Yashica 50mm f1.8 Vintage lens and the Helios (44-2) 58mm Vintage Lens to get that shallow depth of field. I require any more information please do not hesitate to leave a reply here and if you enjoyed this video please don't forget to like and subscribe as that will help me out a lot! Thanks, Davey I really appreciate you taking time to write this comment. I try my best to get the best source/natural audio possible on location. After that, if the audio coming out from the camera isn't great I search sounds on the internet and compile everything together. Cheers bro!
Amazing film! I’m currently planning my A-level media coursework (filming a TV show sequence) and was wondering if you had any tips/advice on how to plan, shoot, and edit?
First of all Thanks for commenting. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Well, the best advice I can give you is to plan the basic shots you would require beforehand..... Even when I am traveling I try to leave the first 2 days to look into the location (if time permits) and after that start shooting everything which looks pleasing to my eye. Try to Get creative with your shots... don't just shoot a regular typical shot you see every day, try to pan out of some foreground for example or shoot in between things, this instantly makes your footage look more pleasing to your audience!
Thanks for your comment once again. This comment just made my day! The shot at 1:06 was filmed with a Helios 44-2 58mm F/2 vintage lens. It's amazing the look you can get from such vintage lenses. All the best bro.
I appreciate your comment.... I am willing to work to the best of my ability with the current gear that I own. I wont to produce quality standard videos with cheap equipment to show that you can work with any camera you own! But overall I agree a gear upgrade with have definitely helped! Thanks again please dont forget to like and subscribe 😊

Do you use Magic Lantern for Timelapses and Slow Motion (60fps) ?
