Costabella tropical beach hotel at Mactan island is very nice and i can only recommend to stay there. I have been there 3x yet and i was always absolutely satisfied. It is really highly commended ! Front beach location, open space 2 pool with small slider, friendly staff , delicious cuisine, wide choice and mainly 24 hours a day opened hotel restaurant , top concierge services, safe hotel area..... making my stay with extraordinary experiences ! Next time i will again stay there !

Dimon Ire You should email then to see what activities they have for New Years. If you are just looking for a nice beach, Mactan isn't really the place you should be looking, the only nice beaches on Mactan are the man-made beaches

Dimon Ire That time tends to be the "coolest" time of year (by tropical standards!). When it rains it tends to be light (rather than the downpours you get in the rainy season). Generally the beach won't look as good as in the video that time of year.
