I love the tradition of getting to open a gift (it’s always Christmas pajamas) on Christmas Eve and having matching pajamas for Christmas morning. This is my first Christmas I won’t be able to do this with my family but I’m going to start this tradition at my house this year!
Oh the pickle!! It’s a love/hate relationship with that thing. Love all the decorations and love the fact you put the kids ornaments on the tree. A lot of people just go for pretty but I love the memories all the past ornaments bring back. I just love Christmas. Such a wonderful time of the year.
I used to decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, the past 2 years I’ve decorated early though. I try to get decorating out of the way to be able to enjoy more activities around December, and with having a special needs child, mine time is crunched lol… love your channel! Literally decorate the day before Christmas Eve and dont turn on lights until Christmas Eve night. It seems to me that makes it more special and we let it last until the middle of February. It brightens up the dreariest middle winter months. ❄🎄

We decorate for Christmas normally on December 1st. Unfortunately since the loss of my father Christmas has been a very difficult time of year for me. I became a cat lady about 5 years ago. I too only had dogs! Love them cats, Kitty Garfield and Koal Catdog, so much! I still want another dog. We had a black lab named Indy. I miss her a lot.
I start decorating mid October because it takes time to get everything out of the garage and basement and sort what I am going to put out and where. I have two cats and when they are sleeping on the couch I put a throw blanket over them. They love it. It's warm and they feel hidden. Cats love to hide just a little bit. I have one who loves to stay under the coffee table and I think that she thinks she's hidden. She'll hide behind the table runner hanging off the side lol. We put the tree up yesterday but it only has lights on it for now.

We used to always decorate the day after Thanksgiving, but we lost my sweet mother in love and my kids’ Grami who was also one of my best friends in 2019 so we decorated in mid-November that year as we needed some joy for our broken hearts. Then, with COVID last year, my kids asked to decorate early again. So, our new tradition I guess is to now decorate mid-November. We hosted Thanksgiving for the first time this year so it was nice to enjoy the weekend and reset without having to decorate. Thanks for sharing pieces of your life with us! We use to decorate after Thanksgiving but the past couple of years we decorate the living room and upstairs but leave outside and kitchen Fall for Thanksgiving. Then we'll finish up decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. Spreading it out helps not feeling overwhelmed. This year I completely let my kids decorate the tree with all of their ornaments. It's not fancy like several of my friend's but I love it so much more.🥰 I've been wanting to start a Christmas village. Love your decor!🎄

The brunch looked like so much fun! We usually don’t decorate until the day after thanksgiving, my husband loves thanksgiving so I usually just leave the decorations up till then, however they do stay up until mid January 😂 loved the friendmas brunch! The drink looked so yummy
I like to set up the 🎄 tree before Thanksgiving & then decorate a day or two afterwards. We don't always do it this way.. it just depends on what's going on that year. My girls and I love to watch your videos while we’re cleaning. Last year I moved to a new place and didn't have any motivation to put up any decorations. This year an opportunity to move to somewhere cheaper and bigger came along and I just couldn't not take it. So this year I'm moving again BUT I want to decorate and put my tree up. I've even told my husband the first thing I want to do is put our tree up 😜

Really enjoyed this video. We also don’t have a Pinterest worthy tree, love using family ornaments. Now that kids are older we have made boxes for them of their ornaments to use on their own trees as their families grow.

One year when my youngest was about middle school age (she’s 25 now) hubs got the Christmas decor down from the attic. My girls were unpacking boxes and my youngest yelled “anyone want a hot dog?”! In that box was an unopened bag of perfectly preserved, very hard hot dog buns. I guess I was in a hurry packing stuff up the year before and some groceries got caught up in the mix.😂

This year I completely let my kids decorate the tree with all of their ornaments. It's not fancy like several of my friend's but I love it so much more.🥰

I decorated yesterday day after thanksgiving. We still need to get our big tree up and out of storage still , hoping tomorrow. I won’t decorate it probably till sometime during the week . I love decorating either before thanksgiving or right after thanksgiving. This year we did it after Thanksgiving, I am a preschool teacher and sometimes I get home super tired all I want to do is rest, but I got my self together and we finally did it last friday. The brunch looked like so much fun! We usually don’t decorate until the day after thanksgiving, my husband loves thanksgiving so I usually just leave the decorations up till then, however they do stay up until mid January 😂 loved the friendmas brunch! The drink looked so yummy
I like to set up the 🎄 tree before Thanksgiving & then decorate a day or two afterwards. We don't always do it this way.. it just depends on what's going on that year. BTW, the kittens are super cute & chill. Love how you decorate your home, too. On a side note: I'm kind of excited to check out Hoover's pop-up! I don't have a cordless vacuum & you really seem to like yours.. Merry Christmas, Amy!
I can't believe how fast the year went. I remember you making those signs last year. I was excited to decorate my tree on Friday. But other little Christmas stuff starts sneaking in the week of Thanksgiving.

I usually don't decorate until after Thanksgiving, but this year I decorated the first week in November. My anxiety is usually through the roof at Christmas time, but I wanted my kids to enjoy it despite my issues!

My family just started a tradition of getting our tree and decorating the day after our oldest daughters birthday (Nov 27th. She's a big 4 year old now!!). We chopped our tree down today and I'm currently between decorations, lol!!

I love your video! I am so excited to decorate for Christmas this year. This Christmas is my husbands and I’s first Christmas married!! We are planning on getting our first real tree next week and I am excited to shop for our first Christmas decorations around the apartment. I don’t have much space but I like all the small decor you put around in different places. Normally I would decorate with my roommates after thanksgiving but this year is a little different t shopping for our first things. 🙂

My girls and I love to watch your videos while we’re cleaning. They always tell me mom she’s vacuuming you need to vacuum 😂 but anyways I actually only have two Christmas mugs and I actually keep them in the cabinet with the others since I don’t have too many. I’m sure I would have tons more if I actually went shopping more but I mostly have the ones I do from gifts for Christmas, Mother’s Day, birthday, etc. I hope y’all had a wonderful thanksgiving!! 🥰

Last year I moved to a new place and didn't have any motivation to put up any decorations. This year an opportunity to move to somewhere cheaper and bigger came along and I just couldn't not take it. So this year I'm moving again BUT I want to decorate and put my tree up. I've even told my husband the first thing I want to do is put our tree up 😜

Really enjoyed this video. We also don’t have a Pinterest worthy tree, love using family ornaments. Now that kids are older we have made boxes for them of their ornaments to use on their own trees as their families grow.

One year when my youngest was about middle school age (she’s 25 now) hubs got the Christmas decor down from the attic. My girls were unpacking boxes and my youngest yelled “anyone want a hot dog?”! In that box was an unopened bag of perfectly preserved, very hard hot dog buns. I guess I was in a hurry packing stuff up the year before and some groceries got caught up in the mix.😂
