Commneted pretty much the same thing, never been a fan of Monty, but there is almost no skill on that team to work with, which falls on Sweeney. Max Jones? Morgan Geekie? Gimme a break.. Never loved DeBerusk either (mostly because of the players that went after him in that 2015 draft, otherwise a solid, if streaky depth scorer) , but man would I love to have him on that second line now. Would take Grzelcyk over Zadorov any day too. Heck, I'm even beginning to think that PLD might have been useful on this team, back in spring I thought we dodged a bullet with him.
Lindholm Zadorov contracts were mistakes. Lindholm is not a difference maker and Zadorov is not very good. Being tied to these two until 2030 and beyond is bad planning.....BTW, Mick might want to update his wardrobe.
Hey coach we need more scoring out pp is dismal. What are you gonna do? Coach: hm any player with offensive upside I’m gonna bench or keeps them in the minors and career hacks with no offensive up side I’m gonna put them in the top 6 and on the pp lol
The bruins era was dead 2 years ago after their 2 centers retired. They couldn’t win it 2 years ago what makes you think they can now with lesser skilled players. The bruins need to rebuild now the longer they wait they will miss out on top prospects like McKenna and DuPont.
Carlo needs to sit. His work on the PK is horrible, not tough in front of the net, or out of position, or on his butt. I have never seen a professional defensemen without enough balance to stay on his skates. Monty needs to either change his system, or leave. The play is too predictable. PP1 pass--pass--pass--Pasta One timer. Line changes, hey lets all change at once!!! leaving the far blue line open. C-O-C-H - coaching
I disagree. Look nobody saying it isn’t an issue, but it’s probably the third biggest issue…. 1) highly paid players not performing or living up to their inflated contracts 2) A WEAK forward core with 3 third lines who management somehow expects to compete for a Stanley Cup 3) coaching So unless they are going to clean house and become sellers, It’s hard to feel GOOD about firing the coach. Otherwise, it’s just an easy copout for management that will really not change anything
Yes, it is the biggest issue. There’s no adjustments being made to generate more offensive chances at 5v5 and PP. switching up lines/personnel is not “adjustments”

Have to fire a coach that lost 6 straight times to FLA at HOME in the playoffs. Time to fire a coach who took like 7 delay of games in the PLAYOFFS last year. Time to fire a coach who can't get any discipline from his team.
They have 1 foward line. Any coach would have difficulty winning with that. I'm surprised Monty was able to get all those wins last year.
Amen. He’s done well with what he’s had. He’s not exactly my cup of tea but to put a ton of blame on him is so ridiculous
Let Sweeney come down on the bench and coach, and see what a mess he's created.

come on!! The Bruins are thin all over. what else can we expect after years of lacking draft capital.

I agree. That's on Sweeney.
Probably not wearing pants.
Absolutely agreed, both signings were terrible, buy-out candidates in 2 years..

They suck, let's face it. Painful.
Get rid of Neely and Sweeney
Get Moe and Larry
Coaching? Didn’t they win the President’s trophy with the same coach?
Can't figure out why they are not changing up the PP?? not just the final 30 sec of it
The B's of late, look like they're allergic to the puck.
Calgary will crush Bruins tonight. Monty won't make it to Christmas. The Bruins very good era is officially over. Some bad seasons ahead.

The Bruins tried to get size to compete against Florida Panthers but instead ended up with the Sabers of old.
It was a special teams loss. 4th game the Bruins have given up 3 goals on the P.P.. We also need help on our Power Play.
Peaked definitely hit his head into the boards on the Pacciority hit. Likely a concussion protocol.

Their two best players are playing like arse - McAvoy and Pasta. Not to mention Carlo, Zacha, Coyle, Elias. Absolutely nothing to do with the coach.
The lack of discipline is on the players .The coaching can bench a Pasta and scream at Marchy but they can't play for them.
Neely/Sweeney/Monty all need to go
Monte has lost this team. Not all his fault but they need to get a new coach.
What team?
This is really a dumb title. You honestly think coaching is the biggest issue?
