Man i missed my old sienna i had when i was in the US 10 yrs ago....it's comfy, xtremely roomy n reliable being no big problems after 3 yrs of use from intown driving to out of town highway cruising....man i wish i could bring this to my home country.....the closest van by size i could buy in indonesia is an alphard which starts at around $80k brand new....
My parents bought one of these things 2 days ago- I drive an 06 Altima and this van seemed REALLY wide compared to what I am accustomed to- It is a really nice van and I hope my folks get a lot of trouble free miles for years to come.
I have a 2007 3rd gen previa (torago utilma v6) leather seats 2 sunroofs heated seats captain chairs electric rear seats and uses less petrol than my 7th gen 1.8 corolla great van very quick and reliable better looking than the fat looking sienna
its sad that the 2011 Odyssey Touring beats the 4 cylinder Sienna's fuel economy numbers. But its not surprising since most people who gets the 4 cylinder engine will notice they will have to be heavy on the throttle to get the power which is probably the reason why the gas mileage numbers are disappointing
It really disappoints me that Toyota didn't put a hybrid powertrain in here- of all the cars out there, I'd think that minivans would benefit the most from something like this.
Wow this is way better than the Toyota Previa I grew up in. Way better looking, especially the SE model. If I were a girl, this would be on my list, but since I'm not this van is sadly not for me. Can't blaim toyota for that though. The TV and rear seats are awesome.
I am planning to buy 2011 sienna, it has 110 k miles. I like to replace the transmission oil and filter ! Any suggestion or advice, please. Currently I have 2004 camery 2.4 L. It has 253k miles. I brought in 2011 when it has 62k miles. Last year I had replaced all 4 shocks( full assembly), transmission oil and filter, & all liquids flush. Few days ago on 11-11-19 I had replace all 4 breaks, transmission oil , catalytic converter , O2 sensor , thermostat sensor, temperate sensor. VALVOLINE high miles OIL 10w-40. & spark plugs. After that cars is flying. It soo light. But only thing is It don't have pickup like other cars. I have all documents since I bought the car, No accident till now
I’m looking at a buying a very similar 2011 sienna at the moment. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you get yours for 2 years ago? The one I’m looking at now is $16k with 90k miles. Curious to see how much the market has changed. Thanks!
@@chigggg my family has had a 2012 LE V6 since 30k miles It now has 152k and we’ve used it for road trips, round town driving and people hauling The only thing we’ve done is oil changes, brakes once and suspension recently (regular stuff for this type of mileage) These are great vans and you can’t go wrong with them, they live up to Toyota quality for sure!
@GSTom1 I don't understand your point. The cargo space is flat ... I know because I own the 2011 Limited and the seat tracks don't interfere in any way with your cargo. I had my van loaded to the teeth with a load of furniture and other stuff and drove from Niagara to Florida. No problems what so ever.
I need a 3rd vehicle for family outings I am considering a used Sienna because we already own 2 Toyota product both trouble free but I am also considering a Honda
The feature limitation reviews seem to miss is that the 2011 Sienna's car seat anchor setup is pitiful. There's only 1 LATCH anchor/top tether in the back and it's smack in the middle of 2 of the 3 seats! For those with a lot of kids who want to make the most of the seating, this is a deal killer. Our family has 3 toddlers with a 4th baby on the way, so, while we otherwise loved the Sienna, we ended up going with the Odyssey which has 5 LATCH anchors 6 top tethers. We have 3 car seats in back!
@patrick560sl Good thing VW does have problems with the peddle huh? that's what happened to Toyota when they're built in USA. No recall on Japanese built.
I think the new Quest and Odyssey looks so much better than this van. I personally loved the Sienna, but god knows what the hell they were thinking when they design this years model.
my 2011 sienna is junk..toyota just replaced the seat backs but won't replace the bases which squeak like mad. toyota will also repaint the entire van at a local shop this summer because all the paint is failing. the track on the second row seats is not removable and always in the way if you remove the seats. the plastic is hard and rattles, the rugs are very thin and cheap. the fit on the body is like a 1980's GM product. .. there's your real review at 33,000 miles
no idea what you are talking about other than you don't know how to buy a car you like. i tried a 2011 recently with 123,000 and it was very quiet. as for the paint, i see so many old ones driving around with no paint problems and no rust at all. i think you are just butt hurt with toyota and you think you are doing a great thing bitching here.

I was thinking about buying one for to go hunting because of the room inside
I acually want this van. Cool. It looks amazing.
Did you got it? how is it going?
Very nice this Toyota Siena

I love Toyota sieena
Beautiful this Toyota Sienna
Oddball previa? I WISH THEY'D STILL MAKE THEM!

the Alphard and Vellfire is very nice

Nobody bought the 4cyl, drama queen.. Even large Toyota dealers never stocked a 4cyl.

@Shawn Kemp . . . 10 years later. . .

@minivanman1356 stating price not awd and no back up camera at 30,000 and push button start available now power doors at 30,000 and its slower
the se looks good

Calty designed the Previa also.

Spongebob narrator voice: 11year later...
Im a guy is it wrong that I just said I want a Seinna SE ??
That thing is hotness !
No we can party in it 👍
you forgot to mention they are timing belt or chain
2007 and Up= Steele CHAIN. MUCH BETTER
@dougdangger toyota scienna's gonna win in minivan segment for sure.
id still take the chryslers just because they have fold in the floor seat for all rows
@patrick560sl
Sienna is built in Indiana....USA...
if it was not for the recalls......i say all for it......but the recall makes it a big IF
@patrick560sl Good thing VW does have problems with the peddle huh? that's what happened to Toyota when they're built in USA. No recall on Japanese built.
whats the point of the handles for the 3rd row? why dont toyota take that out and spend the $10 for that to possiablity add in a better dashboard.
theyre nice to have to get out of the back seats
not impressed with the styling, or the hassle of removing seats.
Boy has that gotten very "darker"
@patrick560sl it is american made...and designed...
@TheGizmo4382 well how many ricer vans do you see going down the road? XD
I want one too but it is too much for the v6 $30k
Psst.... you should have filed Lemon Law instead if expecting them to replace everything.
the reclining seats in the limited look so cramped............
They USED to before they cut them XD
4 cilinders , 2.4 liters I don't think so
Xo
@Toni7859 PBS
@meattube4u33 I Beg to differ!!!!!
@Silvertrine I think the exterior is awful
@pegasusmon25 how
i seen one 2day, also. my mom's Oddy still looks better
I'd just get a Dodge
I think the new Quest and Odyssey looks so much better than this van. I personally loved the Sienna, but god knows what the hell they were thinking when they design this years model.
You're from CA, you have no taste.
You have bad taste.
@Alishaikh94 like hell its more expensice ugly and slow

New Odessey is a better choice plus is build better.
