Spring Fishing Belton Lake! Texas Smallmouth Bass

In this video I got to go fishing for my first time on Lake Belton in Temple Texas! This lake is know for its large population of southern smallmouth bass. Love the video. Have you had any luck with the flat sided cranks in the ponds? I seem to do nothing but dredge up the bottom. Appreciate what you do.

No they were smallmouth bass

What lure were you usin? And what part of the lake?

I used like 6 different lures, and we went all over the lake. We just targeted coves and standing timber. I think that the Berkeley frittside crankbait did the best.
